GIVE YOUR WORRIES TO JESUS

ISAIAH 51:12-16

I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; Vs 12
And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor? Vs 13
The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. Vs 14
But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name. Vs 15
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people. Vs 16

We all face face situations that make us anxious, we may be fearful about presenting a business proposal to a group of strangers, we may put off dealing with a disruptive family member but what we most worry about is doing something we have never done before.

God knows how fearful we are of stepping into unfamiliar areas. That is why He reminds us that when we are most afraid, we should review what He has already done for us, trusting that the one who puts the stars in the sky and established the earth will continue to work on our behalf God's love and compassion for us is far greater than what any human can do to us.

A song writer says

His love is more than our understanding,
It is greater than our fears Yahweh.

Lay your burdens to Master Jesus because He cares, He knows what you are going through, all He needs you to do is cast all your worries, burdens unto Him and watch Him do wonders in your life.

A song or word for you today anytime you are faced with worries.

Tell your self

Cast all your cares,
Upon the Lord,
Cast all your worries,
Upon the Lord.
For He cares for you,
And He knows what you going through,
Why don't you cast all your cares upon the Lord.
For He cares for you and He knows what you going through,
Why don't you cast all your cares upon the Lord.

He has made us understand that He cares for us in the book of Matthew:

That no matter how long we worry, we cannot add a strand of hair to our hair. He knows all your worries just give it to Him. He knows all our every need, just ask and it shall be given unto you.

The verse 12 of our reading passage says:

I, even I, am the one who comforts you, says God. Why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like grass and disappear.

Why worry yourself over most things even when you know it is not in your hands to handle it but God's hands. Why punish yourself when all you have to do is take to the Lord in prayer. Why worry when you know, He knows your every need not want.

There is no uncharted territory for the mapmaker of the universe. With His direction, we may go into the dark with confidence, with His direction we may go into the dark and be safe, with His direction even when we walk in the deepest valley we fear no evil, with His direction, even when it seems like things are dry, our cup overflows with milk and honey, with His direction, anywhere He leads we are ready to go because He cares for us.

He is in total control of your life because He never missed the run-way through all the centuries of fearful fog.

He is waiting for you because the load you are carrying, the heavy load you are weighing is not and can never be your own.

Cast your worries to Master Jesus, because He cares for you.
He is the problem solver
He is God and He can help you.

He is always waiting for you to take it to Him

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I hand over all my fears and worries to you.
