BELIEVING FOR ABUNDANCE

You have to be believing. I didn't say feeling or knowing. There's the place for feeling the human struggle to meet your needs and knowing how much you have in your bank account. But that place is not in spirit-financing. To do spirit-financing, you have to be believing. To do spirit-financing, you have to be believing. If you are not believing, you will miss it.

When you hear that the dollar rate is very high or that the cement price ha gone up, your feelings rush to the forefront. This knowledge crushes you, if you are not steady in your believing.

Believing means to trust, to rely on something different from what other rely on. It means dancing to a different tune. Others may not even hear the music.

Have you ever been at a party where different bands played at the same time? Usually, you should dance to the music of the band closest to you.

Believing means that you dance to a different tune and necessarily the one closest to you. Yes, people may take you for a mad case. A believer is a different person, who dances to the tune of heaven.

He dances to the music of heavenly promises. He flies with the rhythms of heaven, not earthly music.

There's a rhythm to the problems of life, which people dance to. They rush about, seeking for what to eat, what to wear. A believer chooses on purpose to not dance to that music. He will rather dance to the tune of his heavenly inheritance in Christ. God's promise dictate the tune he dance to. After all, he who pays the piper dictate the tune. He knows that his life belongs to God to do what He pleased. He dance STI whatever tune God dictates through His Word. And usually, people around you may not hear this tune. How do you dance to heavenly tune? By receiving His promise and acting on them. Believing is not an attitude, it is a force. It's something you do. It is not an abstract concepts that you cannot see- it's concrete.

Remember the story of the four men who brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus? Good. What did they do when they got to the door and found it impossible to go in because of both crowd? Go back home? No. They came in through the roof! They looked for a way in and found it.

Now, that's believing. Did they get what they wanted? You bet they did! This shoes that you can't just sit down, fold your arms a d say you believe. Believing does not keep you stagnant-- it sets you in motion. Believing is acting. It is the soul of faith. Without action, faith is dead.

Believe in the abundance no matter the lack which may surround you. Notice that the word believing is the present continuous tense. This shows that it is something you keep doing. If you are believing, you are acting.

That you study to lead a quiet life and mind your own business, working with your own hands as we commanded you. That you may walk properly towards those who are outsiders and that you may have no need of anything and not looking to anybody to pay your own bills. 1 Thes 4:11,12

Spirit-oriented finance. How do you believe for abundance?

i.. The first thing you should do is to learn to quiet yourself. Put an end to all that mental agitations. Get yourself under the attitude of the righteous. Calm yourself down.

ii.. Mind your own business - don't concern yourself with the affairs of others while leaving yours in disarray. That's being a busybody. Mind your own affairs and give your business your best. Don't just work at your place of work because they pay you. Work because because you are believing God for abundance. That job or business may not be able to give you abundance on its own but Christ can and will if you do it well.

Keep your mind that if you believe, you shall see the glory of God. That simply means that if you act, you will see the glory of God. The reverse holds true if you don't act. Until you act, God won't act. When you learn to be quiet, mind your business and work with your own hands, you are believing and you know what? God begins to do His part by giving you such abundance that you won't have to depend on others to have your needs met! You would have more than enough.
