Obstacles in our way
Jesus said: "These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have affliction; But trust, I have overcome the world. "John 16:33 (Reina-Valera 1960). In another version the same verse says: "I have told you all of the above so that in me you may have peace. Here in the world they will have many trials and sorrows; But cheer up, for I have overcome the world. "John 16:33 (New Living Translation).
No one said that the Christian walk was going to be easy, Jesus acknowledged that we were going to have many trials and sorrows, but at the same time we encourage him because He has already won, in a few words if we have Him on our side we can be more than winners (Romans 8:37)
Perhaps these days you have been facing many obstacles, perhaps at some point you have even thought about giving up on this path. There have been thoughts in your mind about returning to your old life, that life that was not really life and that only brought you more sadness. The pressures of life have wanted to win the game, but Come on !, You're not one of those who recoil, you're not one of those who give up, you're one of those who advance despite any obstacle because the victorious lives in you.
Today I want to encourage you to keep going, that if you have stumbled as a result of the obstacles in the way you can get up and keep walking, do not stop, do not give up, do not give up, you are more than a conqueror in Christ, and together to the Lord you will advance and you will obtain the victory.
Do not let the obstacles in the way define your destiny, on the contrary you have from each obstacle a teaching workshop to use it for and for the help of many others, that the obstacles, far from discouraging you, strengthen your faith, that far from making you surrender to you stronger, because you have been called for great things and if God is with you, who is against you? (Romans 8:31)
Do not give up!
Sometimes in the face of difficulties or obstacles, the answer is to flee, renounce, or leave everything; but in reality this is the easiest thing. Definitely effort and courage are required to achieve those conquests planned by our God for us. The enemy of bravery is fear. But, persevere, move forward, because God has not given us a spirit of cowardice but of power, love and self-control.
