But Jesus said to the disciples, not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of Heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it (Matthew 19: 11 -12)

As we draw near to Easter, I want to draw our attention to some life problems we all face, so that we can take advantage of the redemption in Christ sacrifice on the cross to free ourselves from them.
In dealing with a question on marriage, the Lord Jesus laid bare to us some truths of the problems of life we face as human beings. Using eunuchs, the Lord revealed the root of our problems. Eunuchs are not a common sight today, but was in ancient world, just as slavery was. Eunuchs are castrated people, impotent people, whose ability or power to reproduce, to give birth or to marry and have a family have been taken from them. The prophet Isaiah described them as Dry Tree (Isaiah 56: 3).
The Lord reveals that one reason there are impotent people, castrated people, dry trees people, who can not prosper, succeed and rise to prominence, greatness and excellence is that they are born that way from the womb. Hmm. I thought Jesus was a Biologist or a Gynaecologist, or Geneticist. The fact still remains that most impotency in life is a foundational problem. They are issues of the womb. We are told in the Bible that several times that a man was born blind, or crippled or deaf or dumb from his mother's womb.
But why is this so? I may not be in the position to supply you the right answers, the fact still remains that the foundations that gave birth to us can set us up on the course of failure, poverty, barrenness, sickness, struggling, hopelessness, even premature deaths.
The good news for us is that, the Lord said, this was not the Creator's purpose or intention from the beginning. Also not everyone can or must be made to accept this. That gives us the permission to do something about it if our foundation is the root cause of our life problems. And the truth is, on the Calvary cross, the Lord through His atoning sacrifice set us free from those unfortunate problems.

My only worry for most of us is that we don't realize this, but just follow things blindly and still expect to make it in life. Most people don't realize that their problem stemmed from their culture and traditions, some from their upbringing, some from their parentage. How can you follow a demonic thing that has programmed you for premature or unnatural death and still expect to live long?
So as we approach Easter, and to celebrate it, remember the reason for Easter, He came to set the captives free, and to proclaim liberty to those in bondage and to destroy the works of the devil. And that includes the problems of life stemming from the womb and foundations we were born into.
So we can come out of every dry tree condition and from every impotency by the power of the Calvary cross. Accept this truth and work with it and see the change in Jesus name.
May every castration condition, every life impotency, and every dry tree life you find yourself in now be broken and give way to a new and productive life in the authority and power of the Blood of our redemption and the Name of Jesus. Amen
