This man heard Paul preaching. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he has faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, 'Stand up straight on your feet'. And he leaped and walked (Acts 14: 9 -10)

One of the things I do often is to encourage people to read their Bible. And I do this especially to myself, my family and my church members. You know what? It's because of what I have discovered in the Bible. People call it the Power of the Spoken Word.
An incident in the Bible underpin it. Paul and Barnabbas were on their first preaching assignment. And they came to the province of Lycaonia and preached the gospel there. And in the city of Lystra, a certain man was there, born crippled from the mothers womb, had no strength in his feet to walk and we are told that he was about 40 years. This man was listening to Paul preaching the gospel. And guess what? The message from Paul was imparting faith, strength and grace to him. The Power of the gospel was quickening him, creating what was not created in the womb in his feet and body. And Paul by the gift of discernment, saw faith welling up and bubbling through the man, commanded the man to stand up on his feet. And the man by the power of faith jumped up on feet and walked to the astonishment and admiration of all the people present there.
Hallelujah.

Paul therefore tells us by experience and inspiration that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Rom 10: 17). So what you hear is a game changer. Your destiny can be changed, altered or transformed for good just by hearing the gospel preached to you. And I would want to add, from whom you hear is equally important too. Because we give what we have and display who we are. Peter said to the crippled, gold and silver I don't have, but what I have I give unto you, in the name of Jesus ..... (Peter had Jesus and gave to the man the name of Jesus and faith in the name caused the man to walk (Acts 3: 6 -8)
Bible confirmed to us that, through faith Sarah also received strength to conceive seed and she bore a child when she was past the age of child bearing (Heb 11: 11).
So I want to encourage you to begin hearing the word of God, by reading it, listening to it preached to you, and living it. For it has the potential to elevate you to new dimensions. It has the power to liberate you and catapult you to your wildest dreams.

It has the anointing to break you free, to restore to you, and to bless you with things you were not born with, or for. And no matter the problem or the situation, only the Word of God has the final say. Remember faith came to this crippled man to walk after 40 years of being born to this world. And you can also walk to victory, to success, to promotion and to salvation when hear the word of God.
So don't discard this message or the messages you receive every day, read them, meditate on them and live them and pass them on to others. You are doing yourself and others a great good and service.
May this message you are reading impart faith, hope, grace, strength and power to you right now in Jesus name and may these virtues cause you to be elevated right now, prevailed right now and conceived new dreams, visions, ideas and thoughts that would bear fruits of success, greatness, prosperity and progress in your life in Jesus name.
