STEEMCHURCH-He is your GOD do not fear

in #steemchurch5 years ago

Isaiah 43: 1 Do not fear, because I redeemed you; I named you, it's you.

We can all experience some apprehension thinking about the future. What awaits me? What is there after death? But this changes for those who believe in Jesus Christ and put their trust in him. God gives you inner peace, you no longer fear the future.

God himself assures each believer: "I redeemed you." Not only have my sins been forgiven, but I have also been released from future judgment. I have been torn from the power of Satan to live as a child of God. And this liberation is the result of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who defeated death on the cross once and for all.

When God tells us: "I named you," it is understood that he knows us personally. "He knows our condition" (Psalm 103: 14), knows our weaknesses. From our conversion, he is our Father, a Father who loves us and desires our good every day.

From that moment we belong to him, and he assures us: "You are mine". Thus he shows us the value we have for him, not because we are virtuous or worthy of being loved, but because of the infinite price that his Son paid for our rescue: he gave his life for us. We are precious to the heart of God, we are his “special treasure” (Malachi 3:17). He takes care of us, protects us and will lead us to heaven, to the Father's house. Jesus said: “In my Father's house there are many dwellings; if it were not so, I would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you ”(John 14: 2).

"The verse begins by saying don't be afraid" you have the power to overcome fears and fears if your trust is placed in God. (Isaiah 41.10)

Worrying about the future, about tomorrow, about the family, about marriage, about work, about daily food, about the whole system of this world that overwhelms, that catches and emits voices of fear, failure, illness, restlessness , this leads you to an abyss of fear. We were established in a system that formatted our belief in error, we profess that our dependence is on a human, carnal source and it is difficult for us to place all and absolute trust in God.

The passage in Isaiah refers to Israel. God redeems us when we repent of our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Yes, we shouldn't be afraid. Still, Jesus said that if we weren't willing to pick up our crosses and follow him that we couldn't be his disciple. Life can still be difficult. Even in Nigeria there is persecution.
