UNDERSTAND THE BOOK OF TIMOTHY.

The plan of the epistle gives off an impression of being, that Timothy having been left at Ephesus, St. Paul wrote to train him in the decision of appropriate officers in the congregation, and additionally in the activity of a customary service. Likewise, to alert against the impact of false educators, who by unobtrusive refinements and unlimited question, ruined the virtue and grace of the gospel. He presses upon him steady respect to the best ingenuity, reliability, and authority. These subjects possess the initial four sections; the fifth part educates regarding specific classes; in the last part, debates and question are censured, the love for money faulted, and the rich admonished for acts of kindness.
Versus 1-4 of 1 Timothy 1
Jesus Christ is a Christian's expectation; every one of our expectations of endless life are based upon him; and Christ is in us the desire for grandness. The witness appears to have been the methods for Timothy's change; who presented with him in his service, as a loyal child with a loving father.
That which brings up issues, isn't for enlightening; what gives event for far long debate, pulls down the congregation as opposed to develops it. Authenticity of heart and life must be kept up and expanded, by the activity of faith in the certainties and guarantees of God, through Jesus Christ.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
