Do you know what is the correct time to change?

Many people are tired, despondent and unmotivated to continue doing what they are doing at the moment, and among those people, some want to change careers, by profession, do anything else, but continue in the place where they are.

They want to live a new lifestyle, less stressful, with less pressure, with more purpose and more income, and why not?

Some want to serve the Kingdom of God and feel imprisoned, unable to fulfill their call, and in that case, find another occupation where it is possible to reconcile the work and the call to serve in the Kingdom becomes a priority.

But the question remains: "Am I really in need of change or is that temporary?"

If the origin of this conflict is the call, the mission or the vocation to serve in the Kingdom, the first step is to be clear about your mission and calling, seeking to discern the time and also to know if you are in the right place, in that place where God has put you and wants to use, regardless of where it is, and which may be the work environment, school or coexistence; in the place where, even against your initial will or out of your planning, and for a short period of time, God planted you to bear fruit.

I believe that your life is his, and you, as a servant, the best thing you have to do is stay where you are, by obedience, or go where He sends you, by the same principle of obedience and honor. Thus, you must pray and wait, and while you wait, continue to do what you have done in the best way, because you are doing for your Lord.

But if the basis of the conflict is personal satisfaction, it is worth thinking about these three guiding questions:

• Am I doing what I like to do?

• Do I like what I am doing? Is the result of the work good, does it satisfy me?

• Do I feel gratified by what I do?

Remember that every change generates profits and losses. Then, evaluate if it is really time to change and never stop looking for God's direction to make those changes, after all, He is the one who knows what plans he has about him and is still the God who opens bronze doors, breaks bolts and prepare roads in the desert.
