Let Nothing Stop You, Run Like A Horse

in #steemchurch6 years ago

Greetings Brothers of Steemchurch, despite the sadness today more than ever I reaffirm my belief in God always arrives on time never before or after but at the precise moment always giving the correct answer, sometimes it is the answer we expect another but it is not always the best.

We should not paralyze the first contrary current but trust in God will always give us the best way out, let's prove that we are the warriors and warriors with courage and courage to triumph because we are not alone we have with us Jehovah of the armies and if he with us Who could be against us?

Live the challenges of God. Well there is no growth without problems, and there are no changes without changes.

"If you tire yourself running with men who go to a cake, how can you compete with those who ride horses? If in the land of peace you are not sure, what will you do in the Jordan forest?" (Jeremiah 12.5)

Today during my devotional diary I stopped in the previous text. I confess that I was impacted and edified in the morning while meditating on the Word of God. As God taught Jeremiah the prophet in the formation of his character, I learned a lot from what I read.

The prophet Jeremiah was suffering at the hand of the priests of Anathoth, God, then, tries to encourage him for the trials that still came because they are much older. This is a fact, God was preparing his prophet for future events, work situations and more people, even not trusting his own family or neighbors.

God did not want to see his prophet stumbling at home, in the minimal things now, because he would not behave later when he arrived in Jerusalem, in the greatest difficulties? The ministry of Jeremiah gave him fatigue, anguish and discouragement, on the point of being discouraged, giving himself up once and for all to premature death. It is at that moment that God deals with his prophet: "If you tire yourself running with men who go to a cake, how can you compete with those who ride horses? If in the land of peace you do not feel safe, what will you do in the forest of the Jordan, what do you really want, Jeremiah, what do you really want, Jeremiah, do you want to crawl with the crowd, do you want to run with the horses? Jeremiah does not need to be pampered, but strengthened.

This is our life. Sometimes we want to desist in the first wave of opposition that arises. It is known not to be so easy to do the best thing in favor of justice and to maintain the leadership in search of excellence. It is easier to be a neurotic, to live as a parasite. It is easier to carry it out by the arms of the majority, by the degree of the crowd, by the influence of large groups, by the words of sycophants.

Sometimes we stumble on minimal things, few insignificant amounts. We are not able to overcome them. We are not able to go through them without appreciating them so much. Bitter experiences, a greater goal, a goal later on. We can not give up on the first difficulties that arise.
The life of godly service is not easy. This is not what the Apostle Paul saw (Fp 3.12-14). Of course, if someone wants to give up, there will always be something easier, a more comfortable, more secure life. Something that will not bring any difficulty. We have not been called to have an easy life, because the Christian life is the beginning of a career and has a lot of difficulty to continue and reach the final.

I do not understand why there is so much availability, when you look for excellence, because you deviate, only because there are risks. The weak prefer to adjust to the minimum and live with security to adjust to the maximum, if you have to go through marked adventures. "God never calls a man to fight against horses and not to train before to fight against men, God never calls a man to fight against men."

Jeremiah, no doubt, thought about what answer he would give to his God about such an important question. Weighed the options, evaluated the costs and made the decision. We do not have a verbal response in the text but, through his biography and through his life and ministry, he resolves: "I ran with the horses".

Sort:

The brave person does not surrender easily, defends the just and endures suffering with dignity and trust.
It is a fact that the Scriptures encourage us and exhort us to be courageous and to strive in every circumstance of life; not to be intimidated, not intimidated and not to retreat. The Word says: "Because God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love and self-control"

Jeremiah was one of them!

Well said SteemChurch, thanks

It is impressive the delivery of the prophet Jeremiah, the jail or torture could break their Christian principles, this encourages us to reaffirm our faith in the struggle for freedom.

Yes, we are not EC paper Christians, we carry a divine DNA to resist, defend and achieve victory. Thank you

Horses run with focus and direction. We should ensure that will stay strong and be focus to endure suffering with trust that everything will be fine again

So true what you say Sister, focus and direction, wow!

Since childhood Jeremiah was called to proclaim the truth in Israeli society, it was hard but he fulfilled, today we run like horses announcing the truth in the world.

Nothing will stop us sister, with faith in God we can advance an indefinite distance and with purpose, courageous people who snatch the Kingdom of heaven.

Your publication is a pearl, I feel inspired sister. Blessings

I'm glad to hear that, always welcome

Amen, thanks Angelystovar
