It takes someone that has Christ at the center of his/her heart to really enjoy joy and be strengthen even in adversity.

Accepting Christ is the beginning of joy and strength.
The oil of gladness is made available with the help of Holy Spirit.
We need to continually dwelling in the word of God as the antidote to a heavy heart while doing the will of God.
