WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD
The Kingdom of God is a religious message of definitive salvation. It is a gift from God and a
task that must be built day by day through conversion and personal commitment.
The Kingdom of God is not a political kingdom or a geographical place. It is inside the heart of the
person who accepts the word of God, accepts it and puts it into practice. It is a voluntary project
whereby every man and woman changes their way of life. It is open to everyone. For
being part of it, it is necessary to help the poor, defend the truth, promote justice, and
love others, God and oneself.
The Kingdom of God is the presence of God on earth in the person of Jesus of Nazareth and in his
message of salvation. The Kingdom of God must grow by the work of Christians and the
Church until it is completed with the coming of Jesus Christ at the end of time.
