It's Time To Renew Strength

In this present time, in which contrary winds blow strongly upon us in order to lead us to fail in our attempts, we believe it is time to seek renewal of forces in God. Only then will we continue advancing towards the safe harbor, our final destination.

To meditate on the time to renew strength, let's approach the text of Isaiah 40.28-31 which says: "You do not know, you did not hear that the eternal God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not tire, nor is fatigue tired, there is no squad of his understanding, he gives strength to the weary and multiplies the strength to which he has no strength.

Young people get tired and fatigued and fatigued, and young people certainly fall. But those who wait on the Lord to renew their strength and come up with wings like eagles; they will run and they will not get tired; they will walk and not tire themselves.

The expression of verse 29 draws our attention: "Give strength to the weary and multiply the strength to which he has no strength." Time passes, and as it happens, we always look with prospects for the days that come once again. We plan, always with the aim of achieving something more for God and his Kingdom on earth.

We are knowledgeable that despite our willingness to do more, it is not so easy. We need to be with our renewed strength in God if we want to move towards great targets for the Kingdom here on earth.

We want to always remain active in the work that has been entrusted to us by the Lord, without falling apart, discouraging, hesitating, always moving forward, even when we have to cross great rivers of difficulties, adversities, and persecutions. What can we do to always remain active? We have the answer in the Holy Scriptures. There is a God in heaven, who dominates over all the Universe, his strong and extended arm approaches all those who belong to him.

We learn in the sacred text that one way to have our strength renewed is to wait on the Lord. It has to do with full confidence, total dedication, it is fully in your hands. It is to depend on him as our source of help and grace in times of crisis, difficulties and needs. The believer needs to exercise his faith in the promises of God, entrusting our life entirely to Him, which means that whenever we need help, it will be our sure source of help.

We are known by God, He knows what is our structure and need that we have of constant renewal amid the fatigue and weaknesses derived from suffering, trials and difficulties for us lived.

We truly believe that we will be revived by the Lord. That we will receive a new "energy charge" from the Holy Spirit so that our "batteries": faith, prayer life, meditative reading of the Word, etc., may be recharged. We need to change our strengths, which are really weaknesses, by the strength of God, because He is like the sun that has its own light. As the Lord of armies, he will help us and fight for us.

We are convinced that the Church of the Lord Jesus needs to have his renewed strength in the Lord. The revival so longed for, needs to come urgently. The wind of the Spirit needs to blow strongly on the valley of bones that are already dry. We have no other alternative. We need a revival that produces in the body of Christ a new sense of responsibility with the evangelizing task, already so forgotten by many. A revival that awakens in the believers and leaders in general the preponderant priority of the church, the powerful preaching of the gospel with the operation of signs and wonders. A revival that changes the heads of our leaders, so that they see the expansion of the Kingdom of God on earth, as the main goal of the church.

Oh! Asopra Holy Spirit! We want to see the Kingdom of God in a different way, different from our mediocre, bitolated, unsuccessful vision, stripped of renunciation, abdication, and love of neighbor. Oh! Sir! We put eye drops in our eyes so we can see white fields ready to be harvested. Yes, Lord, put eye drops in our eyes to have visions of those who are lost, of nations that are living in extreme misery, pure decadence, spiritual hungry that die at every moment, without even hearing the Word of God, orphans everywhere . We want to see, hear, hear, hear the hiccups of billions that perish everywhere without God!

Renew, Lord, our strength! It gives vigor to those who are tired, on the brink of death. It's time to renew strength! Walk run. The Christian is destined to always win. He was transferred from a sphere of defeat, failure and death under the judgment of Satan, to the Kingdom of God, which is basically a kingdom of victories in Christ. We are taught by the Word of God, that in Christ we are more than conquerors (Rm 8.37). (1Co 15.52,57), against the forces of evil, against the powers of Satan (Lk 10.19, Rev. 12.10,11), against all enemies and even against death.

We do not want to fail, lose our spiritual vigor. Let us seek in the Lord the renewal of our strength, courage, disposition, hope, joy. We have no other choice, for only He "gives strength to the weary and multiplies the strength to which he has no strength." May the Lord help us!
