How much importance do you attribute to reaching and maintaining an intimate communion with God? Only those who remain grasped by the hand of the Creator, in their presence, reach the spiritual heights prepared by God. Those who walk at will, are exposed to the valley of defeat. That is why we should try to keep on the path of God.

Now, an unforeseeable question arises, how to achieve it? A clean heart, this is the first step for those who yearn for intimacy with God. The cleansing of the heart starts from a personal search stripped of all preconceptions about oneself, of defensive arguments, prejudices, that is, getting to "disarm" before the Lord. In that attitude, go to the assistance of the Holy Spirit to bring revelation about the real state of the heart (Jer 17.9-10a).

God is attentive to what is inside your heart. This step can take us a time, days, weeks to realize. In parallel one has to shed all overweight, burden, impurity, such as resentment, anger, jealousy, anger, resentment, bitterness, sadness, impurity, bad thoughts, etc. (1 Peter 2: 1)

"clean of hands", "pure of heart", "He has not raised his heart to vain things" (He did not displace God from the center of his heart), "Not sworn with deceit". Thanks to the redeeming work of the Lord Jesus, the power of His Word and the faithful assistance of the Holy Spirit have the necessary conditions and resources to overcome the old nature (1 Peter 1: 17-19).

It is necessary to assume that we can not continue to think and act as before (1 Peter 1: 13-16). If instead of being sustained in the truth of God we are still dominated by human passions, we will not be able to remain in communion with God.

The cleansing of the heart is the necessary condition to maintain intimate communion with God (Psalm 24: 3-6). Who has a clean heart, is prepared and trusted to receive greater blessings and above all things becomes an instrument of God to pour out his blessing on others. "Keep your heart above all things saved because life springs from it." What influence flows from your interior ?.

The human being was formed and summoned to maintain intimate communion with his Creator, to cultivate a relationship of love. That is its maximum realization, it is the reason for its existence. Allow God to work together with you in restoring this purpose from within and then prepare to enjoy and splash in others the abundant life Jesus promised you.

Whatever the situation you are in, from that place you can and must look to God and walk the path that He is pointing out to you. (Deuteronomy 4:29) This is the time to make decisions in prayer.
