The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to everyone.

How beautiful are the feet of they that preach the good news. Hello brothers and sisters around the world, I consider it a great privilege and honor to talk about the gospel of salvation which God has provided for all humanity, indeed we’re not ashamed of the gospel because it’s the power of God unto salvation! For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith!

The grace of God has brought so much peace in my life an it has revealed to me the satisfaction, peace, joy, and fulfillment in living for Christ. I do not consider myself blessed with anything else but grace! I prefer talking about myself rather than talking about people who has lived and are gone in the scriptures, it’s not wrong to reference them when necessary but the simple truth is that our lives should reflect the word of life who we’ve been baptized with! For the same faith that they fought for is the same faith that we’re living for now!

For sometimes now, I’ve been discussing grace of God with my friends, and the more I takes in the substances of grace the more peace and joy overflowing my heart

Yesterday I talked about one of the things that grace should workout in the life of every believer which is denying ungodliness.

Today I’ll talk on denying worldly lusts.

Denying Worldly Lusts:

The fall of man starts when man removed his eyes from the commandments of the lord to consider the other side of life and the things that the people of the world are (enjoying), the scriptures summarized them as the pleasures of this world. This is a powerful tool in the hands of the enemy which he releases as venom to every serious son of the most high. There’re things in the world that attracts, and the attraction becomes irresistible when a man is walking in the flesh. Even the scriptures made it clear concerning the things that are in the world which are the lusts of the eyes, the lusts of the flesh, and the pride of life, these are the three things that the world produces and offers and nothing more!

But them who have no confidence in the flesh, those three things in the world shouldn’t be the anchor to anything about us, having known the hope of our calling which is to share from God’s divine nature which will be fulfilled in us at the appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, We should should live holy and righteously waiting for our glory.

Contentment is a vaccine against worldly lusts.

Contentment is a virtue found in believers by the power of the Baptist of the spirit which is nurtured by constantly purification and renewal of our minds through the word of life, I don’t know your goal in life, but mine is to be perfected in Christ, I’ve learned to be contented with the providence of God, do I have wants and dreams? Yes I should, but it’s no longer about I but about Christ who loved me and gave his life for me, all my desires are in confinement with what grace is working out in me which are stated below :
• Denying ungodliness
• Denying worldly lusts
• Living soberly
• Living righteously
• Living godly in this present world
• Looking for that blessed hope
• Looking for glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

What is the scriptures saying about worldly lust?

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We’re saved by hope of eternal life in God and we should live like Jesus our lord who is a king but lived as savior and a servant in this world, indeed our treasures aren’t here! Our empire isn’t here, our glory isn’t not in the things of this life, but as the outward man is perishing, the inward man is being renewed day after day! Hallelujah! Let us therefore give attention to the renewal of the inward man, but for our earthly needs, God is faithful to his words which says “seek ye the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything that you need shall be added to you.
