I have found that the most generous person you will ever meet is God Almighty. You can never outgive God.
God's Economy
The worlds way, we have to give something of value to receive something of value.
With God it is different! We give Him our sin, He in exchange gives us His Righteousness. We bring Him our sorrows, He gives us the oil of Joy! He gives us Beauty for ashes, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness and He turns our sorrow into Joy!
It is when we come to Him thinking we have something intrinsically of ourselves, He turns His back on our pride.
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Jas 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
