The Most High God

God Supreme. God over all of the other would be gods. People worship and make gods out of many things. Idolatry has always been condemned in the Bible, Any form of worship that includes idols is abhorred by God. The Most High God! He is the Most High and He is the only God.

I met a lady one day, her name is Apenny. My spelling might be wrong, but that is how her name is said. In her country and in her home, her job was to keep the hundreds of “gods” or idols dusted and clean. One day she was about to her task and one of the “gods” fell off of the shelf and on the floor. She looked at it for a short while, leaving it on its side. Then she told the “god”, “Get up yourself, you are a god and my family worships you, but you cannot even get up off of the floor on your own”.
