Php 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

There is always some who will take a scripture like this and make it into one more scripture that backs up their belief that God wants you to be rich in the world’s wealth. Whether or not God wants this for His people is not what this discussion is about. I am not here to debate, but to speak about something I see in this verse.

For me it doesn’t bother me if you disagree with me. Please make sure you are not disagreeing with God and the intent of the scriptures.

In our text He says He will supply our needs. Praise God! But He doesn’t say according to His riches on the earth. Not according to gold, silver, crude oil or precious stones found on the earth. But according to His Heavenly riches. Riches from heaven, riches in Glory. Not the riches found on the earth that are limited, but the riches in Glory by Christ Jesus which have no limited or they are limitless. Limitless riches!

Riches that cannot be found on this earth!

It reminds me of the true story of Peter and John at the Gate called Beautiful bear Solomon’s Porch.

Act 3:6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.”

You see this paralytic was looking for earthly treasure and Peter tells him he had none, but he would give what he did have. This thing Peter had, (such as I have) couldn’t be found on this earth. No earthly thing could help this man born in this condition. I dare say, even today with incredible advancements in modern medicine, this man still could not be made 100% whole as he was thus day.

He got dpsomething that cannot be found on earth. Something that came from Jesus, out of His Glory.

“In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”

There are some things, even many things we need that cannot be found on this earth. If you needed a new heart, modern medicine could take a slightly used on from a recently deceased person and replace your old one. The other option is a prosthetic heart. Both of these options are amazing and I applaud the tireless work of many that make this possible. But the third option is the exact match heart, not used, but new that came out of the storehouse of heaven.

Like this paralytic. New everything and instantly, “running and jumping and praising God”. Does God still do this kind of thing? I can tell you, I have witnessed this with my own eyes. Cancers healed, goiters gone, people with strokes made whole, the comatose revived, by that Name and faith in that Name. Jesus!

The woman with the issue of blood had so many procedures and grew worse.

Let’s look at this story.

Luk 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

According to Luke who was a physician himself she had a “spirit of infirmity”.

Luk 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

According to Jesus it was a satanic influence that caused this issue of blood.

There is no earthly or human solution for something like this.

Many times we need something that cannot be found here on earth. We need something only in the storehouse of heaven. Something won by the finished Work of Jesus on the cross of Golgotha and the bodily resurrection of Christ from the grave. An endless supply! Never running out! Where the impossible becomes possible.

This is another miracle I saw with my own eyes in Virginia. This women had women’s bleeding for over a decade and nothing man tried worked even a little. She was possessed and if you were there, nothing would change your mind about this. When she was delivered, by faith in the Name of Jesus. Something happened to her not available on earth, but was and is available in Glory by Christ Jesus.

Even poverty has a spiritual cause. Sometimes we need to have the spirit of poverty broken off of us. If we don’t receive this deliverance, we can have so much riches come our way, but it will be like we have holes in our pockets. This comes out of the Glory by Christ Jesus.

A changed heart! Not the one that pumps blood, but our heart of hearts. The core of our being. This heart can only be changed by God. God is the only one Who can forgive sin and justify a sinner and make a saint out of them.

Every addiction, every chain and even Good News to the poor! All things that cannot be bought or acquired outside of Christ.

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luk 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Luk 4:21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
