STEEMCHURCH - A CHANGE OF 180 DEGREES (REFLECTION)

in #steemchurch6 years ago

A warm greeting Dear friends and brothers
Welcome to my blog
God bless you!

Falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying: Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? He said: Who are you, Lord? And he said: I am Jesus, whom you persecute.
Acts 9: 4-5

I cast off your rebellions as a cloud, and your sins as a cloud; turn to me, because I redeemed you.
Isaiah 44:22

Saul of Tarsus was a young Jewish scholar. But he was not satisfied with accumulating a vast knowledge of the biblical passages of the Old Testament, but he was a man of action, a "militant." In order to serve God, he wanted to keep the Jewish religion pure, and believed that he should persecute Christians fiercely.

But one day, on the way to Damascus, he met Jesus and his life changed completely. He recognized that he had been resisting God. Above all he understood that Jesus, whom he despised and fought against, was really the Messiah awaited by the Jews, the Son of God risen. Then he turned around. He became and became the apostle Paul. What I longed for no longer mattered.

Philippians 3: 8
And certainly, I still esteem all things as a loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Jesus Christ, my Lord, for whose sake I have lost everything, and I consider it as rubbish, to win Christ,

Over the centuries, millions of men and women have turned to Jesus Christ to receive forgiveness and a new spiritual life. The conversion is a capital event for the human being, although it is not always as spectacular as that of Pablo. It is characterized by a complete change of interest and behavior centers.

CONCLUSION

The Christian does not try to justify his faults, but recognizes them before God and receives his forgiveness. At the same time he tries to repair the damage he did to his neighbor. A true conversion does not remain in words, but it is a profound transformation of the whole being. And you, did you take that step?

Sort:

Conversion is a divine and, at the same time, human work. In conversion, the sovereignty of God walks hand in hand with human responsibility. Although God is completely sovereign in salvation, he is the sinner who needs to believe and repent of his sins.

Beautiful image, represents well steemchurch and the joy of the community.

We are washed by the blood of the lamb, which is Christ Jesus, the impression that Paul received when he saw that light and the audible voice of the Lord Jesus.

As a Christian we go on the narrow highway that leads to eternal life, I prefer to take the intrusion when I am lost.

jajaja gracias por compartir, Violinista de Dios.

Very true brother @mosdad, this act of Saulo de Tarso, is a sign of the transformation of God for man, an instant conversion, shown with deeds and actions, this is the man that God changes, total conversion

Yes Brother Mosdad

Conversion is the external manifestation of regeneration, which is a work entirely accomplished by God. It is the spiritual life granted to the sinner in regeneration that allows him to respond with faith to the grace of God.

if we are to receive total forgiveness from god we must try to repair all the damage we have done to people and we must totally transform.
THANKS FOR SHARING

In order for man to convert from his sinful life to God, he needs to have a personal encounter with Jesus. In the biblical story Paul tells it. Possibly Jesus does not reveal himself to everyone in the same way, usually he does it through the exposition of his word which shows us the error of sin and the true way of salvation. Pablo understood that he lived wrong following a religion that would not save him; and that Jesus was the only way of salvation. He understood and obeyed the call that Christ made him: "Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not rebellious to the heavenly vision" (Acts 26:19).

Brother, we can deduce that conversion is a lifestyle that pleases God.
