Faith as fruit of the Spirit is best translated as fidelity. In Romans 1:17 we find an appointment made by the apostle Paul of Habakkuk 2: 4. "For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed by faith and to faith, as it is written: But the just shall live by faith."
