What is controlling you? (part 1)
Hello dear steemians, I'm starting a series that I think will be very helpful to the body of Christ..
We want to take a look into influences that direct us in our decisions..
May a times children of God are found in so many things that are not godly. The questions that comes to mind are "are these people really born again?" and "what is influencing their actions ".. Can a child of God with the Holy Spirit bring influenced by devils?
All these and more will be addressed in this new series I've names "what is controlling you? "
Control of the unsaved:
Every human being born into this world is under the power of darkness.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them(kjv)
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:(kjv)
I John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.(kjv)
The whole world lies in wickedness. It's very unfortunate but the devil is the God of the world. He's controls activities in this world for everyone that is unsaved. Ephesians calls him "the prince of the power of the air". This power WA seeded to him when he deceived Adam in the beginning(luke 4:6). Since then everyone has been subject to the law of sin and death.....
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.(kjv)
Jesus Christ came to this world to destroy the works of the devil(1 John 3:8) and redeem us or buy us back from the power of darkness. Therefore any one who believes shifts from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. we are then under His influence and His Holy Spirit.
Colosians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son(kjv)
Without Christ we may give the poor , do great philanthric acts or try to live a principled life but all this is still under darkness and the devil..
Jesus is the only way to salvation.. Receive Him now and you'll never be the same..
