The humiliation.

Community of @steemchurch, let us reflect on the humiliation. A person feels generally humiliated when in a position of weakness and the opposite person has no qualms about belittling it in words or deeds. It is considered that there are two types of humiliation in life. I call them simply humiliation and unfair humiliation.

Only humiliations are those born of our mistakes, our faults. These are the situations in which our bad actions or mistakes become issues for which people despise us. This is what the accuser does in the lives of many Christians. He uses the mistakes or the sins we committed to overwhelm our souls. But glory is given to Jesus Christ, who has placed all our sins and all our sins upon Him and has granted us the redemption of them. Therefore, there is no longer any condemnation for those who are in Christ.

Unfair humiliations are those that are usually born from an unfair accusation of others towards us. The example of Jesus is very striking. On the cross, he was humiliated by the crowd when he did nothing.

We can see that humiliation touches the soul, because the soul is the seat of our emotions. When you feel humiliated, you have to have good attitudes so you do not sink.

The first thing to keep in mind is that we will all go through moments of humiliation. It is inevitable. This is the reason why you must equip yourself to go through these moments.

If you face a humble humiliation, the first thing you should do is recognize your mistakes and repent. Repentance must be done before the Lord, and before the person or persons involved. Ask for forgiveness from those who have been affected by the fault you have committed, even if the person misbehaves with you.

We are often tempted to hide behind the excuse that the person behaved badly to us, to hide our pride and our refusal to humble ourselves. But God resists the proud and gives thanks to the humble. So humiliate yourself if you want the grace of God. If it is necessary to make a refund, then do it.

If, on the other hand, you go through an unjust humiliation, then you must know that the Lord understands your pain and your sadness. We all have an ardent desire for justice. This is why man is often shocked to respond to an injustice. But that is not always what the Holy Spirit asks us to do. In this case, take the time to strengthen yourself in the presence of God, so that you can heal your wounds. Imploring the grace of God to overcome this situation with the attitude that pleases him. Then ask him to fill it with love for the person who hurts him and prays for it. Later, as much as it depends on you and the abilities that the Lord gives you, show him concrete acts of love because love covers a multitude of errors.

Certainly, the moments of humiliation are not easy yet, but our heart and our character work. They make us more humble, more patient. They work in our self-control, love for our neighbor and our security in Christ. God uses these situations to mold us in his image.

If you have been humiliated and have not been able to get through this situation in the right way, you still have the opportunity to do it today and to enjoy the virtues that God wants to produce in you in the situation for which you are passing.
