If you are not yet at a point where you feel peace and joy in all circumstances and you are bugged with the virus of prayerlessness, perhaps it is an indication that the devil has located and detected your weakness.

There is an antidote. This powerful antidote works without fail. It is praying in other tongues. It is indeed a powerful tool in the hands of the believer.

I have experienced the joys of speaking in tongues. I have enjoyed the power imbedded in speaking in tongues and a life of consistent prayer because of this gift. Therefore, I encourage you to grab hold of it if you don't have it and use it if you do.

Ephesians 6:18 instructs us to pray always: "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."
You may say, "Oh, it's impossible to pray always," but Ephesians
6: 18 states,

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." It is possible to pray without ceasing. It is sometimes hard for us to pray always because we go to God in our own strength, praying in our own capacity.

There is an easier way to pray,and that is praying in the Holy Ghost, or praying in tongues. Prayer is difficult because it is a spiritual act and cannot be done in the flesh if one is to do it constantly.

Jude 1:20 talks about praying in the Spirit: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

However, praying in the Spirit docs not appeal to our because it sounds silly and it puts us in a vulnerable position knowing what we are praying about. We would simply be "I have no clue. I don't know what to say to You, Lord, and silly just standing here blabbing on about what I can't Understand y Guess what: That is exactly where God wants you. He wants you totally depend on and trust in Him and His Word.

Prayer generate! total dependence upon God.
Praying in the Spirit is for your benefit. That's because the doesn't know entirely what God has planned for us or what innermost desires and thoughts are until we speak them. Speakin in our understanding therefore gives the enemy an idea where are and what we desire. With such information in his hand, he is able to cause delays and roadblocks. When we pray in the Spirit, we an praying the will and the mysteries of God, which neither the de nor we can understand.

Speaking in unknown tongues gives you the upper hand, a, stated in the Bible.And he that searcheth the heart knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:27).

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God:for no man understand him; howbeit in the spirit he maketh mysteries (l Corinthians 14:2).

By speaking in tongues, you don't only pray the will and tb mysteries of God. You also confuse the devil. How is he going launch an attack if he is not sure in which direction God is taking you? It is for this reason that he frustrates your prayer life. As 10 as you can stay in prayer, praying the mysteries of God, he loses. wonder when you begin to pray, all kinds of things come up un pectedly to steer you off course.
