Christ the great physician
Several times, maybe directly or indirectly, Christ relate to Himself as a physician. And in this aspect, He is worthy of careful study.

Mark 2:15-17
And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.THey that are in good health have no need of a physician . One can only appreciate a physician when there’s illness. And it is equally true that they that are in good health have no need of a physician.
Now when there’s a sin in the life of any human, what is the remedy? Do you think it’s a physician or something else. It’s a deadly disease and even the smallest one is as fatal as you can think. There’s only one healer which is the great physician. Only the great physician can heal it. sin is the disease, Christ is the healer. When a man falls sick, he can prevent it from getting worse or turning into something stronger. The disease has no diminution till the remedy of the Great Physician is applied.
HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE GREAT PHYSICIAN
For us to appreciate the importance of the great physician, we have to apply:
- FAITH
The superiority of his skill to ours can be acknowledge with faith only. All we need to do is just to speak the word. Therefore we won’t call upon him when there’s availability of faith. we just have to do as he directs us to. We are to follow his directions also. Not just believing in him only. He said to then Pharisees one time.
Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?Just the same way you’re in expectation of the physical physician, and you’re ready to do anything he says, so the same you should be in expectation with high faith too. We often see that a physician is stationary, and his patients who needs healing, have to come to him wherever he is, in order to get the benefits of his treatment. That’s how it is also spiritually. Christ has urge us to come unto him. Christ don’t go and meet a sinner in his house, but He invites the sinner to come to Him. **"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."**
What is the remedy?
The remedy for sin is from this great physician, is the Physician's own blood. Is this not wonderful? That is the only thing in the whole word of God that can heal the disease of sin, and take away the ruinous consequences.

Christ is the doctor that can solve different problems. We definitely want to be with such a man. In one of the posts SteemChurch resteemed yesterday, it was mentioned that Christ gives the water that quenches our thirst. The water that leads to eternal life. Thanks for sharing.
We've been digging for old awesome posts we may have missed, then we came across this. Today, the doctors we have are not even perfect, but Christ is perfect and can give us life. Thanks for your contribution.

The first thing in order to appreciate a physician, is to realize that one is sick. The Saviour says the well need not a physician. It is equally true that the well care not for a physician. Sin is the disease of which Christ, as a physician, is the healer. The disease is deadly. The smallest amount is fatal. The Great Physician alone can heal it. There is no other remedy. When a man is once affected, however much he may keep it under control, and prevent its increase, there is never a diminution of the disease till the remedy of the Great Physician is applied.
When it comes to divine healing one has to talk about our lord Jesus Christ because he his the greatest physician, Jesus Christ healed so many people in the Bible knowingly and even unknowingly, I can remember the story of the woman with the issuue of blood. Jesus Christ felt that something had gone out of him but he did not heal the woman on purpose all because she had just a little faith. My advice to each and every one of us is to always look unto God in times of any ailments or sickness he will heal us totally.
Christ is the great physician who remedied the sin of the world by offering his blood on the cross.
He is the mighty physician who healed diseases and claimed victory over death.
He his a physician that comes into your life and heals you of sicknesses you didnt know you had before, the solution to all ailments.
Christ is the typical example of a physician not just to our physical body but both our souls he came to earth just for one purpose to restore the our spiritual healthiness.
And his blood he has taken offered us, his life he has laid down for us,he his the greatest physician that ever liveth!
