ATTITUDE

TEXT:Philippians 2:1-5

phi 1:Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,

Phi 2:2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Phi 2:3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Phi 2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Phi 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

One of the problem we have today as a Christian is ATTITUDE.

We believe so much in gift than fruit...but the Bible made us to understand that...We shall know those that belongs to me by Their fruit(ATTITUDE).

Attitude is the mental position you choose to take toward life, circumstances and people. As a Christian, what fuels our Attitude is the Word and nature of Christ Jesus. We are not expected to live life the way every other person is living IT, We are different here because we have the Holy Spirit in charge of our day to day activities.

I understand most times our background is the cause of most non challant attitude we give but the moment we confess Christ as Lord and saviour, there's a new king in charge of our lives...The work of the Holy Spirit is not to make us speak in tongues only but Holy spirit is a purifier and refiner.

It breaks every attitude and character that's not consistent with the workings of the kingdom. Our Attitude alone is a tool of evangelism. It has capacity to bring a con malicious being into better being. The only life expected of us as a Christian is the LIFESTYLE OF CHRIST nothing less and nothing more.

How do you want to claim you are spiritual when your attitude is against your appearance?
How do you want people to believe you always eat with Jesus when there's so much pride nd unteachable spirit ? God is a humble father. The only way to show the world we belong to Him is when we can portray His character and lifestyle according to Philippians 2:1-5.

I know many Christians that you will have to think and think before you will believe they are born again. Fire without attitude will bring destruction. We need Attitude in as much as we need Fire. You see Christians calling another Christian enemy because they have small issue
God is always calling the unqualified but He does not expect us to stay in our wrong attitude.

Before you cry for fire and gift of the Spirit, desperately seek Godly character(fruits of the spirit ). Unbelievers can manifest gift but can never manifest Godly character. That was why Jesus said by their fruit we will know them not by Gift.. Somebody is not greeting you and you stopped greeting the person too..you just showed your hidden nature.

A spiritually stable Christian is a man or woman of Godly character normal matter how hard nature pushes. That's the nature of Christ Jesus..our sin doesn't change Him no matter what. He remains a faithful and merciful king🙌.

Your life will never change if your attitude doesn't change first.

Change means a departure from the ordinary. To change requires that we leave what we know and forward into something better. Pride has kept many of us in a spot and we think we know God. Until we get mad at that infirmity call Bad Attitude, nothing will change.

Many ladies that's single just because of character odour...and we relate it to waiting time. Why not use the waiting time to construct a good character nd attitude. Until you see Christ appearance in every soul, you will keep treating them like trash.

Appreciate everyone both the good and the bad.
Love everyone...our attitude can bring back sinners to Christ. I'm a product of grace. I desperately deal with several infirmities in me.
Be mad with the spirit of anger and gossip. Be mad with the spirit backstabbing. Be mad with the spirit of hypocrisy, until Christ be form in you.

Christ met us like that before HE brought salvation to us but He doesn't expect us to die there.

Note: That same spirit that gave tonguing, vision, prophesy and the likes, is still the same spirit that purified men unto Holiness nd Godly living.

Your attitude is your beauty

There are some people we can't resist because of the perfume of Godliness that comes out of them...let's be one too. Let's embrace the body of Christ and seize not to pray for one another instead of going around and causing discord in the house of God. Help us Jesus to come to the understanding of one fulfilment of your Will 🙌🙌🙌
