Imitate Christ's Love !
Ephesians 5:1-2
"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."
In as much as we show love for one another, it means our love for God exist. That is why the Scriptures in many occasions encourages us to love one another, since the love of God is greatly seen when we love our immediate neighbour.
When Jesus stayed with us, He showed us great love portraying that the heavenly Father is love, and therefore we must love one another. His love was clearly seen when He sacrificed himself save us from our sins. The one who never sinned.
We can therefore imitate Christ through this divine love He showed us. Not to die for our neighbours per say as Christ this, but to demonstrate as we can within our ability.
There are many things that can do which demonstrate the love we have for our neighbour: forgiveness, helping one another in cash and in kind, living in peace, interceding in prayers for them and many of such things show love that we have for our neighbours.
In these difficult times we live is when we must demonstrate our love for others, in this way we reflect the love of Christ in our lives.
