THE HIDDEN TREASURE FOR ALL MANKIND

JOHN 14: 1-3

" Let not your hearts be troubled, Believe in God; Believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may also.
And you know the way to where I am going."

Our Saviour, the LORD JESUS CHRIST only revealed His going to heaven at the above verses to us. But His second coming, the exact seconds, hour, week, day(night or morning), month or year is not yet known as many Bible Scriptures testified. And this is our "Hidden Treasure" as we the Christians.

According to Saint Matthew, nobody knows the hour of the second coming of Christ. Not even the Angels or Jesus Christ, but only God knows.

MATTHEW 24:36
"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the Angels of heaven, nor the son, but the Father only."

So the second coming of Jesus Christ leaves suspense in the minds of many Christians, as when is the Saviour coming to judge mankind and also take his people to the Kingdom of Heaven. It is against this back-drop that many Christians are losing faith about the Christ second coming. Most Christians think that Christ second coming has kept long, so it is not true. If He will come, He should have come long ago. Others even make funny statement like "if He has bordered in even a truck He should have come." This and many other things have made most Christians diverted on their way and wallowing in sins. For most people think that there is no Heaven. And Judgement is acquired on this planet thus, after death there is no life for the soul of the believer.
But according the Scriptures the Jesus Christ second coming has not delayed as mankind feels that it has delayed. The scripture support is found in 2nd Peter.

2 PETER 3:8-10
"But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slow to fulfil his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the Heavens will pass away wth a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved,and the earth and works that are done on it will be exposed."

With this, Apostle Paul once said in his teachings that, if it is through this life on the earth that we have hope, then our days of toil have been in vain and Christ death and resurrection has been of no benefits for mankind.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:19
"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."

It must be stated that Christians cannot over rely on any other thing, but only to have faith that Christ who came and die for our sins was resurrected on the third day, and He will come in his glory as he promised in John 14:1-3. For it is mandatory for every believer whoever comes to the Lord that, he is there and he can save us.
HEBREWS 11: 6

"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and he rewards those who seek him."

After having faith in Jesus second coming, it follows by work towards that faith. It begins by warning mankind to be watchful or extra virgilant of the Christ second coming. We shouldn't sleep as those who have nothing doing.
To be watchful here means: to always do the will of God, which include staying in holiness and also praying to God always.

One thing, Christians can use as all indications of Christ second coming is the signs. There are some immoral behaviours that Paul revealed in the Book of Timothy that mankind would put up those behaviours. And immediately we that we should know that the end time has approached.

2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5
"This know also, that in the last days perilous time shall come.
For men shall be lovers of rheir own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such turn away."

So Christians are within the end time, per the above immoral behaviours Appostle Paul revealed to us. Since most of these behaviours are rampant in our societies of late. So Chistians need to be extra virgilant and faithful to God, for we do not know the hour Jesus will come.
This is what I will describe it as Survival of the fittest. Since those who are serious can withstand this "Hidden Treasure." For we pray that God should strengthen our faith so that we can survive till Jesus Christ come.
