One of the very important attitude for every spirit filled Christian to have is to learn to wait. If you want to see God do great things, to your holiness add faith, to you faith add fervent praying and to your fervent prayers add calmness and waiting.

Spiritual things and hurrying people are two different things. In hurrying you loose even your spirituality. To keep your spirituality learn to wait, to keep your faith learn to wait to keep your salvation learn to wait to receive God's promises learn to wait.

From the book of Genesis to Revelation there a lot of evidences, which shows that God never disappoint those who wait on him. Throughout out the bible he has rewarded them faithfully. He is not ready to disappoint any of us today, because that is even not his nature.

Now we live in the culture of fast, quick and easy things. This culture as affected most us Christians, we live our christian life and relate to God with the same attitude and mindset. We go to go with the same mindset that we go to google, fast food restaurants etc. Friends trust me a culture around us affects what we believe and our we express that belief.

But fast, quick fixes and easy is not a way of God, the God of the bible who is also our God. God works at his pace, purpose and timing and none of these we can control. Bit we can trust Him, because He is God who is faithfully and he keeps his word. The world is rushing to the unknown destination, life is racing at a terrific speed in a circle. But with a purpose and plan, patiently God is accomplishing what he has said in his word.

But we also learn a lot through waiting. And here are some of the things that we benefit from waiting;

You learn a lot or at least something about yourself, if you will be careful.
Such time as this, makes us reflect. During this period things that hidden from our active consciousness, come to the surface, attitudes also, character, thoughts and everything that we may have bee ignoring.
Once you reach at this point you never remain the same, something also changes in your life.

Your perception on the issue at hand deepens, widens, heightens or completely changes.
A superficial glance on issues is not enough to get you to heart of the matter. But when you learn to wait in calmness, faith, prayer and meditation, new facts begin to emerge, the shape and the appearance of the issues changes right in front of your eyes.

You form a new concept, a new idea, you get a knew knowledge. You find a knew solution and you develop a knew level of wisdom. Your understanding gets better.

Sometimes this is the time when God will speak to your through your mind, or in your heart through the Holly Spirit. Or he may reveal to you and answer through his word.

You create a chance for God to manifest his glory.
God does not force himself on peoples lives or situations, He waits for you to create that room.

Calmness and awaiting on God, draws him out. He will come and when he comes, answers come with him, miracles come with him and salvation comes with him. And you can not be visited with the divine and remain the same, he will restore your, honor you and divinely empower you to do want normally you would not do.

Just be calm and wait God will show up for you, He will have the last say and you will have the last laugh at your foes.
