Critical Strategies of Satan You May Not be Aware of.

Hello, everyone. This is Pastor Shin from Christian Spirituality Academy.

오늘은 악한 영들과 그들의 전략에 대해 함께 생각해보도록 하겠습니다.
I would like to talk about demons and their strategies today.

악한 영의 진영은 사탄과 귀신들로 이루어져 있으며, 그들은 사람과 비교할 수 없는 탁월한 영적 능력을 가지고 있습니다.
Demons consist of Satan and his minions, and they have great spiritual power to which no humans can compare.

비록 타락하여 하나님께 쫓겨나기는 했지만, 그들의 신분은 천사이죠.
Although they have sinned and fallen, but they are originally angels of God.

천사는 사람보다 뛰어난 영적 능력을 가지고 있는데, 그중에서 치명적인 능력이 사람의 머리를 타고앉아 자신들의 생각을 넣어주고 조종하는 능력입니다.
Angels have great spiritual power, way above what humans have; and one of their abilities is controlling people by putting thoughts into them.

그러므로 자신의 생각이 누가 넣어주는 생각인지 알지 못하고 있다면, 필시 귀신들의 먹잇감이 될게 뻔합니다.
So it would be easy for you to become demons' prey, if you are not aware of what thought they put into you.

그러나 안타깝게도, 우리네 교회에서는 이런 가르침이 없어요.
Unfortunately, churches today don't teach such things.

거룩한 교회에 어떻게 사탄이 들어오며, 빛인 하나님의 자녀들에게 어두움인 귀신들이 어떻게 잠복할 수 있냐면서 말입니다.
They usually say it is impossible for demons to enter children of God, since they are the light of this world.

그러나 우리네 교회가 과연 귀신들과 싸워본 경험이나 있습니까?
But have they even fought against demons at least once?

이는 마치 인터넷 전쟁게임에서 재미로 게임을 해본 청소년들이, 진짜 전쟁터에 나가면 싸움을 잘할 수 있다고 믿는 것과 다르지 않습니다.
Their claims are no different from teenage kids saying they could fight very well in a battle because they are good at Counter Strike or Battle Ground. (Note: Counter Strike and Battle Ground are both combat games, where the players are soldiers or mercenaries.)

여러분이 다니는 교회에서 귀신들린 사람들을 데려가면 귀신을 쫓아내주고 있습니까?
So... does your church get rid of demons for you, if you or other people ask for help?

아니라면 여러분의 교회는 이미 귀신들에게 접수가 되어 지배받고 있는 교회일 것입니다.
If not, it is most likely that the church also is controlled by demons as well, whether they are aware of it or not.

어쨌든 사람의 머리를 타고앉아 자신들의 생각을 넣어주는 귀신들의 공격을 알아채지 못한다면, 이미 그들의 먹잇감이 되었다고 해도 과언이 아닐 것입니다.
Anyway, if you cannot distinguish what thoughts are put into you by demons, you would be the prey they'd love to hunt down.

그렇다면 귀신들이 어떤 생각을 넣어주어 속이고 있는지 찬찬히 살펴보고 싶습니다.
So let's take a look and find out what thoughts demons put into people in order to deceive and control them.

아시다시피, 저는 성령이 내주하는 기도훈련을 하는 사역을 하고 있습니다.
As you know by now, I train people to pray properly. That is my main ministry.

그러나 이 기도훈련을 쉽지 않기 때문에, 영성학교에서는 기도훈련을 해야 할 이유가 있는 사람만을 받아들이고 있습니다.
But it is not easy to follow, so CSA only accepts people who are desperate to follow through.

그들은 정신질환과 고질병을 갖고 있거나 삶에서 해결할 수 없는 문제가 있는 사람들입니다.
The people who come to CSA all have problems they cannot resolve; they have physical and or mental illnesses, and other serious issues that no one was able to help.

그중에서도 세상의 치료방법으로 해결할 수 없는 정신질환이나 고질병이 있는 사람들이 많이 찾아오고 있습니다.
People often seek for CSA's help, when they are met with incurable chronic illnesses or mental disorders that cannot be "cured" by scientific standards.

그래서 그들에게 하나님을 부르는 기도를 전심으로 시켜보면 대다수가 귀신들이 드러나는 증상을 보이고 있습니다.
When they start calling out to God and truly seek him, they get bombarded by sickly symptoms of demons revealing themselves.

이때부터 귀신들과 피터지게 싸우는 전쟁을 치러야할 것이예요.
Then they must go into fierce battle against all of them.

그러려면 귀신들이 공격하는 공격 전략을 알아야 피터지게 싸울 수 있겠죠.
In order to win, they should know how to fight back.

그러나 귀신이 넣어주는 공격인지 알지 못한다면, 제대로 싸우지도 못하고 패퇴하여 포로가 될 것입니다.
But if they are not even aware of demons and how they attack, they won't be able to fight; they will become demons' hostages and be under their control.

귀신들이 생각으로 넣어주는 것은 죄를 짓게 하는 것들입니다.
What demons put in your head is things that would make you want to sin.

죄란 하나님이 싫어하는 생각과 성품, 말과 행동을 총망라하는 말입니다.
And sin is anything and everything God hates, including thoughts, character traits, words, and actions.

그러므로 하나님이 싫어하는 생각을 받아들여 하고 있다면 이미 죄를 짓고 있는 셈이죠.
So if you are accepting whatever God hates, even if it is a small thought that comes to your mind, you are already sinning.

마음에서 나오는 것은 악한 생각과 살인과 간음과 음란과 도둑질과 거짓 증언과 비방이니 이런 것들이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이요 씻지 않은 손으로 먹는 것은 사람을 더럽게 하지 못하느니라(마15:19,20)
For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them. (Matthew 15: 19-20)

육체의 일은 분명하니 곧 음행과 더러운 것과 호색과 우상 숭배와 주술과 원수 맺는 것과 분쟁과 시기와 분냄과 당 짓는 것과 분열함과 이단과 투기와 술 취함과 방탕함과 또 그와 같은 것들이라(갈5:19~21)
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5: 19-21)

위의 죄의 목록들은 교회뿐 아니라 세상에서도 죄라고 가르치고 있는 내용들입니다.
The passages mentioned above list sins; these are what the world also considers sins as well as Christians.

귀신들은 이 같은 죄의 덫을 놓고 걸려들게 만들어서, 죄인으로 삼아 생명과 영혼을 사냥하고 있어요.
Demons set traps of sins and wait for people to fall into them; they hunt souls and lives that way.

여러분은 이 같은 죄를 짓지 않고 있다면, 하나님이 기뻐하시는 자녀로서 문제가 없을 거라고 여기고 있을 것입니다.
And you might believe you are living a life as a beloved child of God, if you are not committing any sins mentioned earlier.

그러나 악한 영들은 그리 호락호락한 놈들이 아닙니다.
But demons are not that easy to get rid of.

여러분이 이미 알아채고 조심하고 있는 죄의 목록으로 공격하지 않습니다.
They will not attack you with sins that you are already aware of and are careful about.

그런 공격은 여러분에게 실패할 확률이 높을 거라는 것을 그들도 잘 알고 있기 때문이죠.
They know they have higher chance of failing, if you know what they would attack you with.

그래서 그들은 여러분이 인지하지 못하는 치명적인 공격을 감행할 겁니다.
They will attack you in the most critical ways, but they would be something you would not recognize easily.

그렇다면 그 공격이 무엇일까요?
Then what are those attacks?

너는 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르러 사람들이 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자랑하며 교만하며 비방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사하지 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 모함하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아하지 아니하며 배신하며 조급하며 자만하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라(딤후3:1~5)
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (2 Timothy 3: 1-5)

위의 말씀은 종말이 가까울수록 사람들이 자주 짓는 죄의 목록을 말해주고 있습니다.
This passage lists the sins that people will commit, as we near the end of the world.

그 죄의 목록은 위의 마태복음과 갈라디아서의 목록과 사뭇 다르죠.
These are different from what I have mentioned earlier from the book of Matthew and Galatians.

여기 말하는 최고의 죄는 자기를 사랑하는 것이고, 자신의 탐욕을 채우고 육체의 쾌락을 즐기게 해주는 돈을 사랑하는 것이라는 목록으로 시작하고 있어요.
It says the biggest sin is to love yourself, feed your greed, follow pleasure of the world, and love money; and it is the start of the long list.

또한 자기를 자랑하고 교만하며, 자만하며 쾌락을 하나님보다 더 사랑하고 즐기고 있다고 말하고 있죠.
And the list includes boasting oneself, pride, following pleasure, and loving all those more than God.

비방하고 감사하지 않고 거룩하지 않고 무정하고 모함하고 절제하지 않지 않는 것은, 죄다 자기중심적이고 자기를 사랑하는 죄에서 출발하는 다양한 죄의 현상입니다.
Being slanderous, ungrateful, unholy, loveless, and out-of-control are all from self-centeredness, which is a sin of loving yourself.

말세가 가까울수록 귀신들은 자기를 사랑하고 자기중심적이며, 자기를 높이며 남을 무시하는 교만으로 가득 차게 만들고, 오로지 자기를 섬기며 쾌락을 누리는 죄에 집중하고 있습니다.
As the end of the world comes closer, demons will focus on making people to love themselves, boast, be proud, consider highly of themselves, follow pleasure, and serve only themselves.

또한 자기를 사랑하는 죄의 다른 모습이 바로 자기연민입니다.
Another outcome of loving yourself is the self-pity.

자기연민이란 자기를 흠모하며 사랑하여 자신을 불쌍히 여기는 감정이죠.
Self-pity is excessive, self-absorbed unhappiness over one's own troubles, according to dictionary.

이런 사람들은 자기를 떠올리며 슬퍼하고 서러워하며, 자신이 당한 불행한 사건과 상대방을 떠올리며 억울해하고 한을 품고 살아갑니다.
People who pity themselves only think about themselves; they only think about their misfortune and have grudges against everyone that has done wrong.

이런 사람들이 많이 걸리는 병이 바로 화병, 만성두통, 신경쇠약, 소화불량 등의 고질병과 불면증, 우울증, 조울증, 강박증, 공황장애, 조현증(정신분열) 등의 정신질환입니다.
Excessive self-pity often leads to mental disorders, including but not limited to excessive anger, panic attacks, nervousness, insomnia, depression, mania, and schizophrenia.

성령께서 제게 정신분열은 죄다 귀신의 소행이라고 말씀하신 이유예요.
The Holy Spirit has told me these illnesses are caused by demons.

이런 질병의 시작은 자기를 사랑하고 자기연민에 빠지는 죄의 덫을 밟았기 때문입니다.
These illnesses happen because people stepped on the trap of self-love and self-pity; these are sins as well.

영성학교에 와서 기도훈련을 하면서 귀신이 드러난 사람 중에서, 가장 진도가 나가지 않는 사람들이 바로 자기연민의 죄를 인지하지 못하며 싸우지 않는 사람들입니다.
Out of all people who come to CSA and train, people that don't have much results are the ones who have but are not aware of self-pity; and they don't fight against it because they are unaware.

이런 사람들은 아주 오랫동안 자신을 불쌍히 여기며 불행한 인생을 슬퍼하는 자기연민의 죄에 오랫동안 익숙해져 있기 때문에, 아무리 자기연민이 귀신이 넣어주는 죄라고 말해주어도 인지하지도 못하고 싸울 엄두를 내지 않아요.
These people have been pitying themselves so long, and they are so used to being self-absorbed; so even when coaches and I tell them to fight against it, since it is a sin in God's eyes, they are not willing to resist it.

그래서 열심히 기도를 하지만 자기연민에 빠지는 죄를 반복하기에, 귀신이 떠나지 않고 기도의 진도가 지지부진하기 일수이죠.
They pray and train hard, but they keep going back to the old habit of feeling sorry for themselves; demons never leave them, and their outcome for the training is not satisfactory at all.

그래서 이런 사람들에게 기도 훈련시키는 것이 무척이나 어렵습니다.
So it is very hard for me and other coaches to teach and train them to pray.

아무리 말해주어도, 혼자 있게 되면 어느새 자기연민에 빠지는 죄를 반복하기 때문입니다.
No matter how many time we tell them, they just repeat the vicious cycle.

이에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 누구든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따를 것이니라 누구든지 제 목숨을 구원하고자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나를 위하여 제 목숨을 잃으면 찾으리라(마16:24,25)
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. (Matthew 16: 24-25)

내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 한 알의 밀이 땅에 떨어져 죽지 아니하면 한 알 그대로 있고 죽으면 많은 열매를 맺느니라 자기의 생명을 사랑하는 자는 잃어버릴 것이요 이 세상에서 자기의 생명을 미워하는 자는 영생하도록 보전하리라(요12:24,25)
Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (John 12: 24-25)

내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라(갈2:20)
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2: 20)

예수님의 제자가 되는 가장 우선순위의 자격이 바로 자기를 부인하는 것입니다.
The first thing you must do, in order to become Jesus' disciple, is to deny yourself.

자기부인이란 자신의 생명과 육체를 미워하며, 십자가에서 예수님과 같이 못 박혀 죽는 것을 말합니다.
Denying oneself is to take up on his or her own cross with Jesus, hating your physical being and life in this world.

그러나 귀신들은 평생 자기를 사랑하며 육체를 섬기라고 명령하며, 자신이 세상의 주인이고 왕이라고 속이고 있죠.
But demons tell people to love themselves and serve their physical needs, telling them they are the rulers and kings of the world.

그래서 사람들은 교회에 와서도 부유하고 성공해서 탐욕과 쾌락을 누리고 자기 의를 내세우고 자기만족의 신앙생활을 선호하는 것입니다.
So people come to church and ask for wealth and success, so they could have all the pleasure in the world; even their faith is for their self-satisfaction, letting themselves and other know how faithful they are.

그러나 이 같은 신앙의 모습은 귀신의 속임에 빠져 죄를 지으며 지옥으로 빠져드는 현상일 뿐이예요.
But this kind of faith and religious life is another way to go straight down to Hell, being deceived by demons and sinning.

그래서 교회에 와서도 자기만족에 빠진 대다수의 우리네 교인들이 지옥의 불에 던져지게 될 겁니다.
Most church-goers with self-pity and self-satisfaction will have their places reserved in fiery Hell.

답답하고 안타까운 일입니다.
Sad and disheartening.
