)We have all heard about the ozone layer and we are alarmed by the fact that its destruction will do much harm to both man and earth, however, very few wonder the reason for its existence. Making a study of the case, in order to find arguments that sustain the relationship of this layer with the creation of God I found something impressive that can only be the work of a super ingenious, who thought, calculated millimeter the amount of gas and molecules necessary to envelop the earth and protect its inhabitants and all forms of life that develop there, from the constant radiations that the sun emits during its cooling process.
Ezekiel 32: 7, which says:
"And when I have extinguished you, I will cover the heavens, and I will darken their stars; the sun will cover with cloudy, and the moon will not shine its light ".
To understand a little about the subject, it is necessary to make a short summary about what the ozone layer is.
The atmosphere of the earth has five layers: The troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere
The troposphere is the most important because it develops life follows the stratosphere, The ozone layer is located at the bottom of the stratosphere, about twenty or thirty kilometers from the earth's surface. Its thickness is a few millimeters
Ozone forms a thin layer in the stratosphere that surrounds the entire Earth and has a large concentration of ozone. This layer protects life on the planet from the ultraviolet radiation that reaches us from the sun. Being these harmful for: health, unicellular organisms, plants and ecosystems, causing ecological disasters such as, very strong winds and rain, drought, burning, thawing that raises the sea level causing floods, global warming.
The ozone layer has the capacity to absorb almost 99% of the harmful ultraviolet radiation and send it back into space. This layer has been protecting life on Earth for billions of years, but now it is wearing down due to human activities contaminating the environment with chemical particles produced by gases emitted from industries, aerosols, fertilizers, others.
The result of several investigations soon made it clear that this layer is vital for survival and that increasing or continuing the production of substances that damage it could jeopardize the health of all people in a very short time. The results of several investigations on the causes and consequence of the destruction of the ozone layer has led worldwide to consider that this layer is vital for survival and that increasing or continuing the production of substances that harm it could put into question the health of all people, and the earth in general in a very short time.
One of the most curious properties of the ozone molecule blocks solar radiation, which has waves less than 290 nanometers and this prevents it from reaching the Earth's surface. In the process, it also absorbs ultraviolet radiation, which is dangerous for most forms of life. UV radiation could even kill life on Earth. However, these rays are also important for the atmosphere to warm up and have a viable temperature for life to flourish. Therefore, the balance between the radiation that enters and the one that is blocked is very delicate.
The ozone molecule blocks solar radiation and the largest percentage returns it to space + absorbs ultraviolet radiation = the few rays that enter the atmosphere maintain the balance of the earth's temperature. It is true that God promised us not to destroy the earth, but every day we observe how man through science has invented so many artifacts for comfort, fun of man that has so far gone against the preservation of the environment.
