FREEDOM: ¿Is it a right that GOD gives us or a condition imposed by man?
Hello, dear family, God bless all projects that have taken shape in life. Once again sharing with you the learning that gives the experience of the biblical reading, I invite you to find in our being, the response that generates pleasure and motivation to change, by truth as the principle of liberation of all human paradigm and faithful fulfillment the commandments God demands of us, keeping him present at all times in order to be worthy of Him.
I hope that this short analysis will serve as a reflection and motivation to get closer to God and find the freedom that life demands so much.
2 Corinthians 3:17 The Lord is the Spirit; and, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom there.
We believe that we are free, but the truth is that we are slaves to our own actions because our behavior is more inclined to the satisfaction of the carnal ego than the spiritual ego (The Higher Ego is justice, mercy, love and right, the Lower Ego it is the opposite, arrogance, vanity, hatred, slander, lasciviousness, crimes, robberies, and everything that harms us spiritually, that takes us away from the supreme one). Our life is full of truths, but many of those truths makes us prisoners, motivated that some of them try to hide them for convenience or necessity, this being the reason that deprives us of our own freedom. Knowing and accepting the truth is escaping from slavery, lying, fear, deception and many other reasons that generate oppression to our behavior.
The Holy Scriptures teach us to serve and worship God, because He is the truth that will set us free.
In the eighth chapter of the Gospel of St. John an affirmation of Jesus is read to the Jews who had believed in Him: If you persevere in my doctrine you will truly be my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (Ioh 8, 31 and 32).
Our existence is full of all kinds of problems, spiritual pain is one of the many reasons that makes us weak before the adversities of life, this situation creates an abyss, a gap between God and man and does not let the blessings flow who promised us by the death of his son JESUS CHRIST. To keep in mind the spirit of God is to free oneself from the bondage of the physical, spiritual, material and emotional problems that overwhelm us.
- The only way to be free is to have Jesus Christ in your heart.
- Read the Bible is the main tool that guides and strengthens the faith, it is transformed into justice and truth whose ultimate goal is to be free.
It is an amazing goal: true freedom. And, as you say, only to be found in the truth that is a person. Thank you @peraza82
