I leave you a small reflection that I want to share with all of you. Yesterday, in a special day of sale of fish, addressed to the inhabitants of the community, a friend who works and supports these types of days, I made the comment that a priest approached him requesting the purchase of the truck full of merchandise fish, she did not know that he was a priest, she was surprised and asked him why the massive purchase of the product, where the man answered him, that he was responsible for a charity work for people of scarce resources and that his church contributed donations, helping especially children so they can eat and guarantee a diet.

I was surprised, it gave me great joy thinking that there are still many people of noble heart that we have the willingness to give without receiving anything in return.

This helps us reflect and move forward for a better world, where the sense of charity flourishes towards the most needy, transmitting the word of God in turn and especially, faith moves mountains, faith is the greatest power we can have inside one.

I quote some verses related to charity, but first it is important not to leave behind that charity is a theological virtue that consists in loving God above all things and your neighbor as yourself. It is a selfless love that arises from the mere desire to give to others without expecting anything in return

For Christianity, charity is one of the three theological virtues, together with faith and hope. The Christian loves God for himself and his neighbor for the love of God. Charity implies that the end of all actions is love.

From this point of view, the concept of charity is also used to talk about the help given to the needy, a charity being the disinterested action of an individual in favor of another who is helpless.

I invite you every day to be charitable in spirit and soul, to be a habit born of our being. And be multipliers for our children.

Deuteronomy 15: 8
But you will open your hand freely, and generously lend what you need to meet their needs.

2 Corinthians 9: 7
Each one must give according to what he has decided in his heart, not with reluctance or obligation, because God loves the one who gives with joy.

Charity is patient, it is benign; she is not envious, she is not boastful, she does not swell; it is not discourteous, it is not interested, it is not irritated, it does not think badly, it does not rejoice in injustice, it is pleased with the truth; everything excites, everything believes, everything expects, everything tolerates. I Cor 13, 4.
