According to dictionary " Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen"
In many ways has man has hope and this has help to increase the standard of living. when talking about hope, A typical Nigerian does not give up on hope even if they are at 80's or 90's age, they still hope of a better tomorrow, even when they know that age was against them.

A Christian’s Definition of Hope

As hope is also known as faith and God has assure his people to always have faith in him. I t is also stated that without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb 6:18 which says "That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us"
Also in Heb 11:1 which says that "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
With this it clearly show that, as a believer you need to have faith in God, that he is the author and finisher of your faith and give all to him, let him lead your life to meaningful end.

Reason for your faith

The reason for you hope is because:

• You are still alive: All those mocking you forget about them and face what you want God to do for you. know that those mocking you are not your God, you yourself know the God you serve and the way you talk to him to do everything for you. Just keep on hoping and praying to him for a divine intervention from heaven.
