Enough is Enough

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

 It's a known fact that the decisions we make today don't simply affect us, they affect our children, grand children and great grand children. It's mostly talked about in the Bible about how the iniquities of the forefathers is passed on from generation to generation. It's true that we're struggling in some areas in our lives because our ancestors have opened door to the enemy. Sometimes, when you look down the family tree, you see a negative pattern that has been reoccurring in the family. Assuming in David's family tree, every male is always having "near success syndrome" whenever they are close to a financial breakthrough. Imagine how concerned and worried David will feel when he's close to getting mega contract?? You can't simply deal with such issues medically or psychologically. Not even his Will power can help him here. Looking at such reoccurring issue, David knows is a spiritual battle. It takes only prayers to destroy such strong hold of "near success syndrome" in the family lineage. 
Bible says, 

the curse doesn't come without a cause". 

That means when dealing winth issues such as addictions, bad temper, stealing etc, is either we've made a bad choice or someone in the family line has made One. There's a reason a child grow up to become a thief, there's a reason, a baby grows up to become an abusive parents, alcoholic and drug addict. Is a known fact that environmental issues will also contribute to influence people but these things do not randomly happen in the spirit world, somebody, somewhere has opened the door to the enemy. 
You can free yourself by taking responsibility for your actions. God has given each and everyone of us freewill. You can choose to change or set a standard for yourself. Every right choice you make, will overturn the wrong pattern your family lineage have made. Each temptations you resist every day brings you a step closer to your victory. Yes, we can't undo the past but we can change the future by making the right choice today. It's very easy to think that once you come out from those negative environment, we would change very fast. Most times, we even hear people say it that I'll never treat my wife, the way my dad treated my mom or I'll never raise my children, the same way I was raised by my parents. The truth is that, there is a very high probability we end up doing the same thing that we passed through. The spirit is passed down. Bible says, 

we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers.

 You have to rise Up and take authority over this issues. Just don't sit down and accept the status quo. Be the one to say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
