The world forgot how to love

How beautiful will the world be when everyone love, people keep emphasising on this, they go as far as writing them down on papers , print stickers and share handbills on it written how the society will become a better place if love is practice but then just few even among those who preaches the love know how it is practice.

God is love, to study this deeply we look at the attribute of God. To portray God, we show Love. Love is the only way God is seen physically in the world today.

"When I was in the hospital you visited me, when I was hungry you gave me food and when I needed clothes you gave me shelter" God said. But the people wonder where they met him and offered such help but He replied "Anything you do unto the people you see you do unto me"

We forgot how to be, the kind of people God asked us to be, we forgot how to see, love in everything, we forgot totally. We play the game of reciprocation, we love who loves us and hate who hates us. We look at our younger ones and profess love to with the promises that we would do everything for them but a stranger ask us of a meal, we change our countenance against them.

We forgot how to love the way Jesus taught us how to. Even on the cross with nails and pains, He smiled and said "father forgive them for they Don't know what they are doing" . In most cases it was recorded that He was compassionate and go about healing the sick.

Before His death and resurrection, the only prayer He taught us was a prayer of Love. But we forgot how to love totally. Envy, killing, malice, hatred is what we practice in negation to what He taught us.

If the world could hold to the teaching of love then peace is guaranteed and a world full of happiness. Lord remind us how to love.
