Man and suffering

in #steemchurch5 years ago

Beloved parishioners, as a doctor and a Christian, I often fight with multiple sufferings. That is why I share this theme with you today that will help us to never forget where our consolation is.

The Bible speaks of many promises. Wonderful miracles are arranged in many books, with the purpose of leading us to believe that there is no impossibility for God. The Bible speaks of love, mercy and also of suffering.

The suffering of the righteous is narrated in the Scriptures in detail. And God recognizes in his Word that there will be moments when life seems to lose meaning.
Science for centuries investigates and develops in the sense of alleviating pain and physical suffering. Much has been done. Many remedies were invented. In the future we will have genetic drugs, which will act directly on the failures of our formation and, probably, the cure of cancer is near.

On the other hand, entertaining inner and psychic suffering is also a priority for researchers. Virtually all disturbances and illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, anxiety, emotional stress, insomnia, have special remedies and treatments that lead to healing.

But, in addition to all the effort, suffering still exists in this generation and it is certain that it will be in the next.

Pain is one of the signs of the complete disorder that the rebellion of man introduced into creation. In the current situation of the world of sin, the realm of suffering is such that no one will escape you.

God knows there will be a time when the things that once made a lot of sense to us, lose meaning. Life without suffering is utopian.

We suffer why we feel pain, because of death, because of disappointment, why we are humiliated. We suffer why we transgress the laws of God and we sin.

God knows that all this is true. He knows what tears are and why they come. He also knows what pain is. Jesus felt the worst! Jesus fell, shaken. In Gethsemane he needed the help of an Angel to strengthen him, he asked the Father to deliver him, if possible.

"Jesus did not leave us any formula as to why and the origin of suffering, he gave us a way of victory in the face of suffering, he lived in triumph in the midst of suffering." The secret of his triumph was his identification with the will of God. Father in suffering. "(Julian C. McPheeters, in Theology Dictionary, page 507)

There are promises for the faithful and just. God will wipe every tear from our eyes. Every sentence we make is saved. The Holy Spirit helps us in our worst moments.

Sufferings will come for the just and faithful, but they will be enlivened!

Job concluded in his suffering: "Man, born of woman, lives a short time, full of restlessness" (14.1).

  • Since we can not flee from suffering, but we can draw some lessons from it.
