Steemchurch - Refuge in the Promise of God. (Part I)

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)
There are many children of God who live poor on their promises, that is, they have them but do not accept them, they have promises but they do not believe them, they have the promise but they doubt God, they complain about the state of things. See the promises of God, life is full of them.

In the Bible there are many great promises, a promise is a declaration of God's intention to give us a blessing, a gift or keys that open doors, in the Scriptures the promises are highlighted from beginning to end, in general In the Bible we find a promise behind another, in other words, are signs of God's love for all of us, a sign of his protection, signs of God's will, purpose and plan, not only for us, but for his entire Kingdom.

Promise after promise!... Remember that in all the past centuries, not a single promise has been forgotten, all the promises that He has made have been fulfilled. That is the God we serve.

When we think of all those promises and the fact that he gave them to us, and that they glorify him but are for us, they must be a vital part of our life. Every day we must give thanks for all the promises that God has given us and keep in mind that everything they believe about him, everything they want about Jesus, all their convictions, everything... depends on the promises of God.

When I think about what is important, I only see how tragic is the life of many, we have all these promises and it is like having a treasure, it is such a big treasure that it can not be counted or measured. Many are always very close but do not take advantage, what a great sin for a child of God to be a follower of Jesus Christ and have countless promises of God and ignore them.

We forget them, we complain and we regret what we do not have, what there is not in us and what we have in life, without knowing that what we need is found in the word of God.

If I ask you, what is your favorite biblical promise? Many would not say it immediately, many would not because you have discarded the idea that some biblical promises have no application in your life, well, I want to clarify some things to help you understand why promises are so important to your life and how you can personally decide and believe what you say and accept that promise.

Now only believers can avail themselves of a promise from God.

The unbeliever can not appropriate any promise, because he has no right, he can only access them once he is part of the family of God or legitimate son of God. And how do you become a child of God?

The answer is in this verse that all the children of God know:

God loves us totally and unconditionally if we want to measure his love, there is no way to do it, and promises guidance, promises to provide what we lack, promises to protect us.

We must understand that He will keep his promises, for the simple reason that He is not a man to lie, the lie goes against his nature and character. God is perfect and always will be.

The promises of God belong to his people, and if you are a child of God, you have an incalculable treasure through the promises of God.

Each day, there is a promise of God for our lives. We have to consciously come to terms with these promises by the single act of believing. Thank you @theonlyway for sharing this.
