We have love !!

Love is the glue that holds the church together. It is the same love that has motivated Jesus Christ to do all the will of the Father, to the point of sacrificing for all of us.

Christ's love for God became the reason for his love for us. The same love that we can observe in the life of Christ has now been poured out on all believers. We have this love, we should not run after it or go looking for it, we just have to make good use of it.

Unfortunately, many believers pursue love by sounding "Lord, give me more love!" Instead of saying "Lord, help me to use better and practice the love you gave me". With the help of this love that God has given us, we have the capacity to love Jesus, as he himself loved his Father.

This love is "the bond of perfection." It means that it is the love of Christ that unites everything in perfect unity.If the church is divided, there will be little love in the hearts of the various members.That is why Paul exhorts us to put everything else of love.

The love lived in the church will give us the strength to carry the weight of others. It will make us willing to care for other believers in how we behave. We will find time to visit sick and needy church members.

The most basic thing that can be said about love in relation to God is that "God is love"

And we know and have believed the love which God hath [a]in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.
1 John 4:16

This suggests that one of the best words to describe God's character is love. The nature of God is such that in its totality it does not need more.

Neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Acts 17:25
