Greetings to y'all brethen in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. Thank God it's Monday which is a new brand week for us, and I pray we have a fruitful week ahead.

The devil is known to be a deceiver, lair and a cheat. He has a way of turning your mind from doing the righteous things you know you are suppose to do.
Let me tell you a short story of about how the devil hindered a righteous man from entering into the kimgdom of God.

A man called James was known for his humbleness, kindness, truthfulness and never involving in anything crime that would incriminate him and for that he was given the treasurer of h8s church before he got married. After he got married and had three kids, he was still faithful in serving God though his zeal for reading the bible daily dropped drastically. Then one day the devil came into play to see if he would be given a chance in James life.
James had a financial issue he needed to settle but he doesn't have the resources. Then the devil made him to think about the church money (offerings and titles). He thought about using the money without the church knowing and plans to pay back, (that was what the devil projected in his mind to do).
The devil succeeded in getting James when james gave into his trick by using the money to settle his problem.
After that James wasn't able to pay back and had another issue which he used the church money again to settle but this time, on his way back from who he went to give the money, he had an accident, died and couldn't make it to heaven because of that.

The devil is always looking for a chance in Christians life to steal and destroy which is his agenda in life. He was able to get James because, James gave him a chance.
As a christain we should never let our zeal for reading and studying his word as a Christan die down. James zeal dropped which was one the reasons the devil was able to get him because he was fortified with God's word.

No matter the situation or circumstances we are into, we should never give the devil chance because it would lead us to destruction. Always remember that the lord said he won't give us a problem that is more than us or the one we can't carry.
Trust, believe, pray and hope him, be armed in his words and you'd over what so ever you going through.
