(Jesus said :) Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Luke 11: 9

Often the following verse has comforted me and makes me understand that what we ask he will not give according to his will, that when we seek him from the heart he will be there and that when we believe that a door is closed he will have the power to open it because it is our God who has the power of all how good God is, this is what happens when we also pray:

"You will call upon me ... and I will hear you; and you will look for me and find me. " But the continuation also challenges me: "because you will seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29: 12-13)

Many times it can happen that we pray, that we speak words, but our heart is not really committed to God.
One day God made this reproach to his people: "This people approaches me with their mouth ... but their heart is far from me" (Isaiah 29:13). The true prayer comes from the heart. That is why in the most difficult moments, the Lord teaches us to pray from the depths of our hearts.

In the Bible we can find numerous examples of believers who, in the midst of the test, cried out to God and he heard them. That sincere cry that rises to God is the true prayer of the heart.
We must pray with all our hearts, with a willing and humble heart before God. "The prayer of the upright is their joy" (Proverbs 15: 8). The Lord wants us to learn to pray by .

Let us learn to pray with perseverance and aware of our true needs. Even if our requests are imperfect, God will answer us according to his wisdom, for the good of our soul, because he loves us and he always wants the best for us. That is why we can also ask him to teach us to pray so that prayer is pleasant before his presence and rise with fragrant smell before Him.

If we have turned away from the Lord, let us return to Him without delay, then we will experience that joyful trust in God, who answers our prayers.
