How many times has God wanted to save us and what we do is to run?
It is very common not to want to know anything about God because that means following some rules and renouncing your freedom, but what we are doing is to escape from the only way we can get that unlimited love.
We do not know what is going on in us that we think we can play hide and seek with God, but that is totally absurd since He knows where to find us and also knows how bad we are spiritually. There is no point in hiding from God, on the contrary, we have the freedom to show ourselves as we are
Jehovah manifested to me a long time ago, saying: With everlasting love I have loved you; therefore, I prolonged my mercy.Jeremiah 31: 3
Why would God seek us?
To begin with, because he loves us because we are his children. And also because we need to be changed in a supernatural way. It is time to recognize that there are things that we have tried to change but we have not been able to 100%, right?
If we put a moment of attention to the voice of God, we can see that He is constantly sending us messages in different ways and is only waiting for us to activate and respond to His call.

@windermarin. Certainly God is constantly calling our attention and in different ways. His word says in Revelation 3:20: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me."

There are times with some people that God is severe in his mercy. If you won't listen until you're paralysed then God can arrange that. I heard the testimony of a man who spoke from a wheelchair. God got his attention when he was lying in a hospital bed unable to move.
