Romans 8:14-15
KJV:For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

There is a blessing that only the son can enjoy.
A place that only the son can enter
Hidden treasures that only the son can assess.

Even in the natural father-son relationship, it is seen that its only the son that enjoys the father's inheritance. One has no assess to the family properties if one isn't a member or part of the family.

This is the same case in God's family. You can only assess and enjoy the blessings and treasures involved if and only if you are part of His Holy family. Because there is this father-son relationship.

Who Is A Son?

He is a member of the family of God (Galatians 6:10)

He is righteous (Romans 4:5-8)

He is sanctified (Hebrews 2:11)

He is forgiven (Ephesians 1:7)

He has everlasting life (1Jhn 5:13)

Benefits

He has the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:23-24)

He has the gifts of the spirit
(1Cor 12:1-11)

How Can We Become His Son?

John 1:12-13
KJV:But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God

The Bible passage shows how we can become His son. By receiving him into our lives and believing in him.
We are so blessed that a simple act of receiving Jesus Christ and believing in him, we are adopted into God's holy family. In that we begin to share in His love and have fellowship with him.

We can now enjoy the blessings attached to being a son,being a part of the family. And we can now have assess to the hidden treasures that are only revealed to them that in Christ, them that are His own.

Sonship is a product of the new birth; upon Jesus death, burial and resurrection, we have become members of the household of God (Ephesians 2:19). God has become our father, in the new birth; we enter the fatherhood of God, where He is not ashamed to call us His sons!

Our sonship is neither by works nor by our power, we became sons by faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9). When a man hears the gospel and believes, he receives the indwelling of the spirit and he become a son! We are not friends of God neither slaves but sons!

And since we have become His sons, we are to act like him, to talk like him, walk like him, rule like him, pray like him and heal like the father. The evidence of being God's son must be shown in our lives, the fruits must be made manifest.

Conclusion

Maximize all that has been given to you upon your position as a son of God. Spend time in the word and prayers, and you will come to know all that you have come into and received as a son.
In the fatherhood of God, we enjoy divine leading. You are not a slave but a son and God is in you as much as you are in Him (1Cor 6:17)
