People difficult to marry and living with them needs God's intervention (1Cor. 7:12-14)....The journey of marriage (Part 3)

Difficult times are not unfamiliar in this world. These passages confirm it. Deuteronomy 17:8-12, Acts 15:19
It is a fact that all people are times difficult, selfish or want things to be done their way only. However, some people are not easily absorbed or can be lived with. They live in their own shell. They are their own masters, bosses and leaders. They even marry and don't live this attitude behind.

    **Marrying a spiritual unbeliever:**

"If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy."

 **The Eight people difficult to live within a   marriage:**

1. Marrying a still-playing-husband or wife

2. Marrying someone very difficult to talk to, or discuss bothering issues with, or a partner who doesn't listen anybody except himself. Only his ideas are to be implemented

3. Marrying someone who does not recognize or respect the partner

4. Marrying a frequent threatening person

5. Abusive partner

6. Marrying someone who is overly influenced by parents, family and friends

7. One who cheats and his unfaithful to the partner

8. One who spend outside and starve the home

   The Apostle Paul said this in 1Cor. 7:7
   "I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that." Paul repeats this statement about twice or thrice not to say marriage is a bad institution that people must fear, but rather admonishing the believers to understand the responsibilities involve in it.

Earlier our Lord Jesus had said that three persons cannot marry. They are people with birth defect, people who have been made eunuchs by men, and people who are called to do the work of God only and not to interfere God's work with marriage. Read Matt. 19:11-12.
Paul went on to say that though each and everyone have his own gift (not spuritual gifts). The gifts to either stay single or married.

1. Married couples needs some special grace, favor, skills, knowledge from God to marry. Paul warned that when you marry, your interest would be divided.

2. Singles too needs special grace, strength and perseverance to remain single and burn with passion, e.g. the Roman Catholic fathers and sisters.

Having learned about eight people very difficult to live with as married couples, let us look at biblical ways we can get along with them. It's a fact that a BELIEVER living together with an unbeliever is not easy at all in Marriage. However, with God's intervention, every dust in the relationship will settle down at at last. Everybody needs the grace of God to succeed in life. Amen!
