Dporn Is Now Open Sourced
We are pleased to announce Dporn is open source.
This post explains what is needed for Dporn to become a killer adult site for SteemIt and why you should help build it.
What is Dporn ?
We are the fastest growing adult related service on the SteemIt blockchain. You can view the Alpha website here [NSFW].
If you believe there is value in bringing the adult entertainment to SteemIt and your Steem/SBD holdings then we are worth helping develop the first adult related website on the SteemIt blockchain. If you believe in Steemit, you should believe in Dporn.
As you can imagine the adult industry is a 4.9 Billion revenue industry and there is a need for blockchain to solve the many issues the Adult industry has, Why The Adult Industry Needs Crypto. By having Dporn sit on top of the SteemIt blockchain (the fastest in the world), we can meet the needs of scaling and providing network value that benefits everyone. As we all know, Porn typically sets the tone for how a technology spurs interest in a technology as seen Lifestyle 8 Ways Porn Influenced Technology. Nothing is going to change and Dporn will lead the way in this discovery. The question is, are you ready for the ride ?
How Dporn Funds Itself?
We have a UIA on Bitshares at the moment and rely on it fund the current website development via token holders.
A little history...
We recently became the first adult themed blockchain website to pay out its stakeholders for watching, curating and uploading original porn clips. It is the first time this has ever happened on a blockchain. And again, we were pleased to do it on the SteemIt blockchain !

Outline & Gameplan For Development:
Here is an outline of what we hope to have built out over the next few weeks and we will outline in another post a bounties campaign for each task completed.

- Login with steem account
- Upload video (requires steem account)
- Capture snap from video or upload (thumbnail)
Show upload progress
- Assign categories
- Give post title and body
- Select rewards (50/50, Power Up, no rewards)
- Create link in steem post to view on dporn
View video (does not require steem account)
- Browse by categories assigned during upload
- Browse by posting user
- Browse new
- Browse popular
- Browse expiring soon
Upvote videos (requires steem account)
- Create Steem account (link to external)
- Flag illegal content(anyone)(steem for downvotes)
Administrators:
- Create categories
- Assign roles to users (administrators, auto category)
- Tie category to role (for example: verified content creators)
- Remove illegal content
- Set metadata for home and category pages (title, intro, keywords)
Token Holders:
- Receive a % of 90% of dporn revenue equal to % of pornd held
- Future Additions
- Adjust voting strength when upvoting
- Follow account of uploaded video
Live streaming
- Streamers can receive tips
- Chat visible with stream
- API for broadcasters to add “bots”
- Auto chat actions
- Tip tracking/goals/etc (ala chaturbate)
- Option to record/post live stream as video
- Picture section
- Erotica (text) section

I visited the site, but is there no way to tag stuff, so that I can search or remove stuff?
Some things cannot be unseen.
@famadorian , we are in early Alpha ,but the tags are something we are working on as we speak. You'll be able to sort out by original content creator vs. just anyone who isn't and other tags.
Why not promote this post to the top of trending? It will bring more people to the website and maybe some whale would be willing to help/invest in the project.
The site itself isn't ready so much,but yes there will be an effort to get more exposure to the site and the development for it shortly. We'll be doing a campaign to whales soon and even talk to @ned shortly. Good question.
