Layers of the atmosphere
The atmosphere can be divided into these different layers:
• Exosphere
(500-8000 km above the Earth) weather satellites orbits in this layer.
• lonosphere
(80-500 km above the Earth )
This layer protects the Earth from harmful rays.
•Mesosphere
(48-80 km above the Earth) Unmanned balloons have measured the temperature of this layer.

• The ozone layer is part of the stratosphere, at about 40 km high.
• stratosphere
(10-48 km above the Earth) jet aircraft fly in this layer.
• Troposphere
(From the ground to 10 km high) we live in this layer and all Earth's weather happens in it.
