It started 3 years ago! What happened to Steemit?

I still remember how I wanted to counteract the development with this video 3 years ago. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
Everything has taken its course and in the end, people's greed wins.

Steemit was a super platform. A great idea with great visions. But since the voting bots, everything has changed. An imbalance has arisen. It's no longer about how good your content is, but how much you pay the upvote bots to push your post. Many of the people I met on Steemit who put their heart and soul into it have lost the desire and joy to continue. The development is very sad. Steemit could have replaced Facebook and been so much more. Everyone would have benefited from each other. Steemit is not about how cool or chic someone is, but about real people with feelings and problems. But also about generosity, heart, helpfulness and problem solving. A real community that brings the people of the world closer together. There is not a she or he or I, but a we.

Nevertheless, I am glad that Steemit exists and that we have all at least tried to counteract people's greed and concentrate on real life.

Steemit should be seen as an exchange of messages, in the end real life takes place in reality and not online.
