Does all fears matters?

It's a new week. Something motivating isn't bad, is it?

Let's talk about fear. Can you recall the number of times you see a flying cockroach and your heart skips?

Oh, maybe too small. How about a deadly snake or perhaps the shadow of a strange animal in the dark. My sister used to be so scared of that 😀

In many of such scenarios, you must have taken to your heels, or in cases you can't run; said a thousand prayers in a second.🤣

We're humans, it's ok to get scared sometimes. Probably at the sight of a deadly animal, it could be from a violent fellow, a dreaded disease, or even a state of mind.

Fear in itself isn't bad but morbid fear is dangerous. This is what I have come to understand in life.

I would distinctly classify fear in 3

  • Healthy fear
  • Humanly fear
  • Morbid fear.

Healthy fear is of course as the name implies - It's a kind of fear or reverence given to people held in high esteem, example the supreme ruler of the universe, to government officials, our parents and many others.

Such fear is often accompanied with loyalty and a submissive attitude.

Human fear: It's a kind of fear not uncanny of humans.

Examples are the incidents highlighted at the start of this article.

It's just the normal kind of fear pertaining to humans

Unhealthy fear: I could also call this morbid fear.

You can have morbid fear for everything, even an insect.

It's pretty much worse when we have morbid fear of man.

This is an oppressive fear that makes our growth stunted, cafes us in slavery or traps us in our mind.

It could impair mental vision, creativity, freedom, happiness and promotes low self esteem.

Morbid fear is limiting, it does no good to us. It could lead to bad decision making and putting our lives or that of others in jeopardy or made you very vulnerable.

You can equally have unhealthy fear when you give unnecessary reverence to a person.

Casting away morbid fear

Casting away morbid fear isn't easy at all but it is possible. Here are 3 impeccable possible ways you can do that:

Being courageous: While writing this article, I got a message from MTN which reads "Courage doesn't mean you don't get afraid, courage means that you don't let fear stop you."

✔Don't let fear stop you from approaching that cruel boss of yours to ask of a leave.

✔Don't let fear stop you from standing by what you believe in.

✔Don't let fear stand in between your moral standards.

✔Do what you have and need to do.Hence it is right.

But in all you do..DO NOT insult your boss or superior.

Believe in yourself: Everyday before you go out, tell yourself you are more than this and can do anything you set your mind on.

Inferiority complex can be a great barrier to being who you ought to be.

If you see yourself to be too small to accomplish a task, to lead others, to save yourself or save another, you have already failed without trying.

It's better you fail while trying, take courage and try again than believe in your mediocrity or your disability and fail even before trying.

Words of affirmation: "I am a genius, I am great, I can do just anything. I want to do with the divine spirit, I am unstoppable, I am invincible, I am magnificent, many will take pride in me.

I am worth looking out for, I am a star not put under the basket but on the Mountsin top.

I see ability in my disability, I fear no man, I am filled with power and courage.

You can never know the link between these words and your psycho.

There's actually no bridge between words of affirmation and courageous, it's a direct contact.

Conclusion

People want you to be full of fear and crumble at their feet. Our creator did not instill a spirit of fear in us but of courage and a strong mind. Never be less of what you were made. Cast out your fears and take the bull by the horn now.

However, don't be too proud or think of insulting your boss to prove a point. Humility remains the best option.

Remember, "there is freedom of speech, but freedom after speech is not guaranteed"- African adage.😀

Be guided.

Bendiciones

Ofcourse, humility remains the best option while handling and situation . If one lacks it, then he/she is doomed.

I think topics like this sometimes is neglected, whereas we need it in our day to day life.
