Steemfest 2 - Getting lost on Lisbon
After 2 great days of the steemfest, finaly we have a free day, where all the steemians that we attend, we have the opportunity to meet Lisbon without any type of restriction or specific guide. Well, I will tell you the advantages of Losing yourself in a city like this:
You meet places that many other people do not get to know
One of the first things that I could see when I got lost in the streets of Lisbon, is that it does not reach any tourist place, so I could find landscapes like this
(In Venezuela it is difficult to get a green place like this, at least not this good conditions like this)
Things are cheaper in those areas
When you feel hungry, the nearby restaurants are cheaper than in a more touristy place. This plate of food cost me around 5 Euros .. (in other areas I have found food for 2 people for 25 Euros)
It's easy to get back on track
When you want to return to the tourist areas to know more about the City, you just have to ask for a Metro (Subway) and from there you can get anywhere
Finally: It's a great experience
Getting lost does not have to be a bad experience .. I'm just writing this post in the streets of Lisbon, in an area that I could reach after getting lost during the first half of the day .. And I must say, IT IS FUCKING GREAT .. When you realize you're lost, you just do not have to care, you just keep walking ... and fall in love with everything you see, the streets, the façade of the buildings, the green areas that are not full of tourists. 100% recommended
Tomorrow I will try to show you some more tourist areas of Lisbon, and next week if I am lucky, I will show you some areas of the island of Madeira

i agree it best to try new thing and places where no one is going , find your own way and rediscover the hidden gems in that city, in my country we say that the best way to know some thing is to get lost in it
