Thought I would drop you a message to let you know that you can edit the tags (and post) on another frontend and it won't remove (or orphan) your post on SteemGigs, the category associated to the post is stored in our DB and we then query based on that instead of the blockchain directly.
I also noticed that the post didn't come out formatted as we'd expect (large areas of whitespace). We will look to resolve this in an upcoming release along with a resolution to the tags as they shouldn't include an ampersand.

In terms of providing editing, this is something we'll look to add in the near future.

Steemgigs.org is relaunched just yet. Hoping to publish a post about its relaunch in a few days time, then we will continue to develop it. It has amazing sides to it besides freelancing. It will also be powered by the teardrops smt.
