Db glove is an interactive device for a deaf or blind disabled person to achieve autonomous communication with others.
It supports them to everyday task interaction with the world and independent living.
dbGlove consists of wearable gloves worn by the deaf or blind disabled person on the left hand.
It is an input and output multi-touch. interface based in the Milazzo alphabet, A very easy language and it's already been employed in the deaf blind community.
dbGlove connects via Bluetooth to mobile devices and Pc's.
Users can type on sensors that support Milazzo. Messages are visualized on the device to interact with other people.
They can also control mobile applications using this invention.
Plus it is 12x cheaper than the other devices similar to dbGlove
Personal View
To tell you the truth this device would be so much helpful to deaf/blind community. In some ways they can live as a normal human beings. And it is way more affordable than some other devices. And I was amazed that the person who came up with the concept, is also someone with deaf/blind disability.
It just proves that nothing is impossible if you would not stop working on it.
