The Impulse Firefighting Gun from IFEX Technologies can be used to put out fires - small and large - from a distance with a combination of compressed air, small quantities of water and foam additives.
Here's a video of the device in action:
Since the firefighting gun is highly portable, it can be deployed by a firefighter very quickly to suppress fires before they spread.

I think this FEX 3000 product is amazing, this tool is very suitable for me to put in my shop / company to maintain safety and avoid fire.

A few seconds into the video and I'm thinking this is some cool shit :)
It looks to be more efective than spraying water and I like the physics behind it as they explain it in the video; the sudden change in air pressure starves the fire. Smart idea.
